Despite his prior pledge to self-fund his campaign, the billionaire businessman now appears to be embracing big donors.
...even as Trump publicly scorned other candidates use of super PACs, he tacitly gave approval to the Make America Great Again PAC by attending a fundraiser the group held [in July].
Trump spoke for between 10 and 15 minutes at the mid-July fundraiser, where about 200 people packed into a private residence in Manhattan.
There are so many people wanting to contribute and I am so grateful for their support. I appreciate the moral investment in my vision to Make America Great Again, Trump said in an e-mailed statement to POLITICO Friday.

Trump is my first choice, but since he’s wealthy and says he doesn’t need it, I’m sending money to my second choice, Dr. Carson. I want him to be number 2 and if Donald stumbles, he will be next in line.
Wanting to be a part of this might be better done by contributing to Trumps favorite group "Wounded Warriors" in his name rather than a PAC......and letting Trump know you did that.
Trump has long had a web site for donors, with a (I believe) $2700 limit.
