The article is a good read. GOP leadership intentionally lied to conservative America, those Americans adversely affect by Obama’s policies and a general malaise that they established over the last 12 years (actually more).

They rode that tsunami of distrust and disgust with the status quo back into office and not only did nothing, they HELPED Obama in his treachery. They high-fived each other on successfully lying to us and proceeded to feather their own beds. They didn’t realize the price for that duplicity. They don’t even fully realize it now.

They are just beginning to see that wrath they carefully cultivated. Trump is the focus. He’s not the answer but he is the temporary soldier that will destroy their damned house of cards and the sooner the better. His campaign will kill Bush’s candidacy and all the others who consort with GOP establishment. When he falters, then Cruz or Walker can take up the banner.

Walker is fading to black for a reason. He is an establishment candidate. Most have realized he has no core values and doesn’t know what he thinks about an issue from day to day.

The only two candidates who have the force of personality to make any significant change in this country are Trump and Cruz. Trump has the best chance to win because he will pull votes from a wider audience.

Everybody can’t be President. Cruz’s talents would be a lot better utilized as AG, VP or Supreme Court justice. Scalia isn’t going to live forever.

“When he falters, then Cruz or Walker can take over.”
You probably should lay off of those funny looking little cigarettes. The smoke is clouding your vision.....or worse.

Who's stopping them now? Or are you admitting, with out saying it out loud, that Cruz or Walker are (at best) second best and aren't capable of winning on their own?

.......”Trump is the focus. He’s not the answer but he is the temporary soldier that will destroy their damned house of cards and the sooner the better..... When he falters, then Cruz or Walker can take up the banner.”.........

Few realize how much of what Trumps doing is a direct result of Cruz...The Rally against the Iran deal in Sept. is an example as Trump was “invited” by Cruz to be among them as a untied front against the Iran deal.

Cruz is doing a great deal behind the scenes and orchestrating much, with both his and Trumps teams. What we are seeing is a breaking down of the “stronghold” in Washington. There are many more operating in this arena then we could possibly know!

Beware the changlings, the chameleon nature of the corrupt.

> “They are just beginning to see that wrath they carefully cultivated.”

And you will see with 100% certainty how they will change colors to blend right in with yours.

> “The GOP-E will soon comes to grips with reality—Trump represents their best chance to stay in power and in the perks of office— ...”

Yes, and when they do they will claim they were always for Trump and were his biggest supporters.

The coming turn of the GOPe is 100% predictable. The element of human nature at play here has been echoed since the beginning. Literary works often point to the horror of the two-faced liar who escapes to deceive again and again.

And the corrupt always or nearly always (a few exceptions; Ceaucescu etc.) come out ahead under the new banner. In Pasternak’s Nobel Award winning ‘Zhivago’, Komarovsky played both sides and always came out on top. In the Academy Award winning ‘Kolya’, the KGB agents who brutally beat an ordinary man named Louka to a bloody pulp were to be seen days later amidst the crowds of the Velvet Revolution waving and smiling at Louka saying how they were always anti-communist but merely doing their jobs.

And in America it is nothing new. The used car sales approach performed by scoundrels to get elected has always existed.

The challenge before us is to continue to find successful means to background check candidates, to test them repeatedly under duress in a process to ferret out the strength of their inner characters. Today we have the internet and it’s been less than 20 years in its development as a means of cross communicating and raising each other’s awareness. And it’s become a battleground. So far conservatives are strengthened by it but for how long?
