I Like Donald Trump. I REALLY do. But...
Vanity ^ | 8/29/2015 | Self

Posted on 08/29/2015 9:18:10 AM PDT by cuban leaf

Though this is a vanity, I have linked to the foundational source of my point.

I REALLY like what the Trump is saying. I like his attitude, I lake his effectively destroying PC and his takedown of the MSM. I like seeing all the liberal and GOPe heads exploding. I especially like him running a screen for Cruz.

But I would be very concerned about a Trump presidency. If you look at his stances in the past and some that are current and couple that with is personality, attitude and MO, and imagine him as the "strong man" in the article in the link, you will see where I am coming from.

The US is not the Weimar Republic. The population is not homogenous to the extent of post war Germany (1919-1933).

We are in no position in this country for risking the wrong person when we do have a choice of a tried and loyal Constitutionalist who has been fighting in the front lines from the get go.

It's not about the perfect candidate it's about choosing the right one for the job with the time restraints currently that this nation faces..... If I had Trump and Cruz applying for a job...and this country was my company they were interviewing for.. there's no question who I would select........ Cruz has the experience, the connections, the layout, the expertise, and meets all the qualifications of an individual I'd want taking my company out of the hands of corrupted individuals.....

Additionally..Cruz has already been fighting against those who have taken over my company pretty much on his own......learning where the enemy hides and what they hide behind....he knows how they work to maintain their control...and he knows the cracks he can maneuver to get them out with the help of the team he has ready to go.

This country doesn't need "healing" as you said....it needs 'leadership' of the kind that can get rid of the enemy within and knows who they are....

And No... Trump is not the ONLY ONE saying America needs to be first.....he's simply the one bellowing it at the moment and his entertainment factor is a good story for the media to milk....but Plenty of others have said what Trumps said and are doing so as well....minus the theatrics the public wants to see and hear via the media pushing it.

... But as I said...trying to speak with someone fully in Trumps court is impossible.....when they see him as "THE ONLY ONE"....which evidences they are completely sold.

...."Can’t you Trumps genius and perfectionism in the people he hires and surrounds himself with?"........

Well....shall we start with his wives....which didn't seem to work so well several times over. So I certainly don't see genius nor perfectionism in that respect.... obviously neither did he.

As for the "other" people he surrounds himself with....aside from Hollywood and His Trump Golf Courses and various politicians he's enjoyed company with on the other side of the aisle....well...that does leave room for improvement which also obvious he now thinks other wise to date as well.

Am I suppose to forget his history of failing to support conservative principles and ideas?... I don't think so.....'time is what he doesn't have' to prove he won't be flipping....or that he isn't just playing in the game.

Nobody is as surprised then Trump that he is currently leading.....and he said as much when his numbers were rising. He's no Reagan...he's attempting to copy Reagan to sell himself....and though it's working to arouse a sleeping public... I am not convinced he's the real deal who can he is so profoundly claiming.

take Kelo as an example, the proposed project was NEVER built

That's irrelevant to Trump's support of the Supreme Court decision.

And he tried the same thing:

Those means didn’t include offering Coking better terms. Instead Trump turned to a New Jersey government agency — the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority — which condemned the widow’s home, agreed to acquire it on Trump’s behalf for $251,000, and ordered Coking to move out within 90 days. Under the Constitution, governments may take private property only for “public use.” Trump wished to use the Coking land as a waiting area for limousines at the Trump Plaza Hotel.
See here and here.

This is not the type of person conservatives should want to " preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

You are right . to empower Obama on arguably the 2 worst most anti-American bills ever the corker bill to empower Obama on the Iran deal and TPA on Obama trade shows everything

With Trump we may not end up with what we want all the time but at lease the establishment knows the jig is up. The status quo will be dead.

You’re rather thick and your arguments are ridiculous and redundant. Cruz was my pick until he assured the handover of the Senate’s authority to Obama in the Iran Deal. He completely screwed up on the job destroying and economic blunder of the Pacific Trade Deal. I do not consider either of those factors as the mark of a true conservative. Trump will do what he can to bring jobs back to America instead of parsing our talent and sending our wealth to our enemies and he knows how to do it.Time you got your values straight and the weight of a non political and a political person on the right scales.

Criticizing his change of wives is very ignorant and unsophisticated of you. Perhaps you would prefer he be another Bill Clinton and “fool around with multiple females “ with out divorcing and being honest about it.

As far as his being surrounded by “Hollywood and his Trump Golf Courses”, your remarks smack of jealousy. My oh my, never a thought about the work, stress, intelligence and dedication it took to build an empire. You are showing just how “small” you are as a person when you criticize the man for being a SUCCESS! Maybe you believe “he didn’t build that,” Sounds familiar.

I think if you are a “one-issue” person then you would be attracted to Trump.

I am concerned about several issues such as religious freedom, taxes and the expansion of government so I want a true conservative candidate.

Donald is a “one-trick” pony and if he is the nominee, I probably wont vote because I think he is a secret liberal- as liberal as Hillary.

....."You are showing just how “small” you are as a person when you criticize the man for being a SUCCESS!"......

I wasn't critiquing his success or failures...I was responding to you mentioning Trumps "Genius" and "Perfectionism" regarding the people he surrounds himself with.

.....Which clearly shows that in his home life, social life, and politically were certainly NOT that which would point to a man of Genius and Perfection....and apparently Trump would now agree.....as he "fired" them.

And as typically small minded women do, you choose to dwell on his personal business instead of considering the BUSINESS he has built from scratch and which is the subject of my post and which is obvious to everyone else. I said you were thick. It seems you are thicker than I thought.

Of course it is all our business....especially when he willingly spreads his life over the media...he's an entertainer and they get their name in Hollywood.....and we know how Hollywood generally goes....BTW a good photo I might add.

Those are the two worst bills ever:

Obama really does want and is helping Iran to nuke us and the USA. And all these senators gave up their 2/3rd approval power and a lot of other powers to Obama.

All U.S. Senators except Cotton voted to give up the 2/3rd s majority needed for approval of the Iran deal (gave up their power to Obama):

All senators voted for this Corker bill. Only Cotton voted no

http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2015/07/forget_obamarepublicans_made_the_iran_nukes_deal_possible.html

ditto for TPA empowering Obama trade.

Obama trade is a Trojan horse for unlimited immigration

You might be joking but really a Pinochet is needed to cleanse this nation of leftism. I would start by purging every leftist from gov’t payrolls (especially public schools and state universities) and giving these jobs to neutral and conservative people. Give a new crop of people a shot at taxpayer funed jobs
