Idiots and cowards for the most part, I would agree.

No excuse when a Northeastern liberal posing as a conservative being told what to say by consultants to please whatever crowd he’s talking to whether it jives with his previous statements or not including: Abortion, Health Care, Immigration, Taxes, Trade, State’s Rights, The Courts, 08 Financial Crisis. Any other candidate would have been tossed off like a clown.

But because of Trump worship, it doesn’t matter that he’s to the left of even the GOPe, he’s just “different”. The guy could literally rob a bank on video and you’d still be here looking for a way to defend it.

You can’t back up your support for Trump on anything other than words, and it’s been shown again and again his words have been contradictory. So all you have to go on is faith and trust, which I think is an insult to the other conservative candidates in this race that deserve far more trust than Trump ever should based on their records.

There’s not 1 Trump supporter on this entire site that has managed to defend Trump on the basis of any facts. I have read other interactions between the Cruz/Walker/Carson supporters and Trumpsters and it’s always the same thing. We bring up the facts on your guy and you all either ignore it or resort to personal attacks because that’s all you have.

Calling Trump supporters idiots is not a personal attack though. It’s backed up by the facts I described above. But there’s also another class of people behind Trump which I call the “cowards”. These are the Trumpsters that are too afraid to run a candidate on a solid conservative platform because they think America is too watered down to buy into another Reagan-like candidate such as Cruz, so they think the only chance is to pretend a reality TV star can pass himself off as a conservative to liberal voters. That is NOT the Reagan way and NOT how Reagan won two landslides.

So point to all the numbers you want. Trump could go 90% in the polls, but that will not make him a conservative and you know it. And until Trumpsters here start defending their support with logical facts that show beyond a reasonable doubt that Trump can be trusted and that he’ll actually govern as a conservative, I stand by my previous comment.

See my new tagline. From someone who actually deserves to be trusted.

You certainly win the award for being the most condescending. Wonder what Cruz would think of your schtick?

There is nothing, zilch, nada, anything more conservative than putting interests of American citizens first! And Trump has that interest at heart better than any other candidate. That alone makes Trump the best conservative by a nautical mile.

I don’t find Cruz conservative enough. He voted to fast track the trade deal that was crafted in secret. He read the secret bill and even wrote an op-ed piece praising the trade deal. When it was a done deal, and his supporters got upset, only then did he vote against it.

He voted for the Corker bill, which usurps the power of the Senate to oppose the Iran Nuke deal. This is without a doubt one of the worse bills ever. Our children and grandchildren have to suffer the consequences.

He said he would consider means testing social security. When he considers means testing Federal pensions, then maybe I’ll listen.

He’s also for increasing H1-B visas, which takes away jobs from American technical workers. We can’t find technical jobs now. The places I’ve work have been at least 75% foreign workers. Yet they do massive layoffsevery few years.

As far as pro-life goes, we’ve had all these pro-life Republicans in power and we still have Roe Vs Wade. It’s not going to get any worse under Trump and I hope better.
I now realize most of the Republicans lie about being pro-life to run as a Republican. The Bushes for example. George Jr. may have been pro-life, but I don’t believe his father or brother. His grandfather was a treasurer for Planned Parenthood and Jeb was on the foundation that gave millions to Planned Parenthood. George Sr. and Barbara also helped Planned Parenthood until George Sr. ran with Reagan. Cruz maybe pro-life like he claims, but I can believe that Trump also had a change of heart. I know people that have changed as they got older.

We need to worry about the economy or we aren’t even going to have a country. All these professional politicians have got us in the mess we are in. 18 trillion and counting in debt. I’m ready for an outsider.

Well after all he's never been elected to office so unless you're privy to his personal or inside business life you're just lying that you have ant "facts".

BUT, if you want to talk accomplishments...well Cruz has none as a Senator, NONE, ZERO, ZILCH, NADA. And the important votes he has made, the ones that aren't your 'feel good" votes are far from "conservative" votes...In fact they're more pro-Obama than conservative.

He's a FRIGG'N lawyer, that's it. He talks, debates, argues, writes letters etc...PERIOD

Heidi, his wife is way more qualified than he is to be president.

She's had political, economical and financial experience She's also a member of CFR (Council on Foreign Relations)

As a member of the CFR she helped with a plan for Building a North American Community. Maybe you like that, I don't. They're not exactly a "conservative" group which might explain his questionable vote on trade in favor of Obama

He's painful to listen to, painful to watch him speak, he looks like he's just been scolded with that sad sack, droopy eyed look and most of his supporters here that I see, hope he can hang onto Trump's coattails because they know he's not capable of winning this on his own and certainly not without Trump. You can't tell me you don't see all the cries for Trump/Cruz.

Now the Question is, IF Trump picks Cruz (GAG!) as a running mate, who will you vote for?

Bullshit.

Trump's immigration proposal, in and of itself, is a great start towards making this country great again.

And many Trump supporters on this site have defended him on that basis.

Nobody else in the GOP race has the balls to propose anything similar, except maybe Cruz, whom I still favor.

Vote for whomever you want, but your knee-jerk Trump hatred is on display for all to see when you make utterly false accusations like the one you've made above.

We (you in particular) should take a very close look at Trump. Not from a right/left perspective but from a business perspective. Remember when Mayor Marxist duh Blasio said New York City would cancel all contracts and never ever do business with Trump again?

Well, well, it looks like Businessman Trump has had the last laugh:
http://www.newsday.com/news/new-york/city-hall-new-york-city-can-t-break-its-trump-contracts-1.10757847

A mayoral analysis of hundreds of millions of dollars in New York City contracts with developer and presidential candidate Donald Trump concluded that the city could not legally terminate the relationship over his comments about Mexicans that officials deemed offensive.

“We reviewed the city's existing contracts with Donald Trump and found no legal way to cancel these contracts,” Monica Klein, a spokeswoman for Mayor Bill de Blasio, said Thursday. “In the future, however, the mayor said he would not go out of his way to do any business with Mr. Trump.”

It seems it would behoove Americans to find out who Trump would hire to clean out DC. It seems Trump has hired damn good negotiators/contract lawyers. Would Trump's business skills transfer to the presidency? Just about a month ago Trump explained to the audience that flexibility is the key to a deal making. It's like going to war, “No battle plan survives contact with the enemy.”

The question is, would Trump get rid of or streamline (through attrition) the the Department of (Un)Education, the EPA, the Department of (Non)Energy, Department of No Agriculture, the IRS etc.? Would Trump get rid of all the left wingunts Obama has hired in all the agencies under Obama including the DOJ? Also, Trump is asking for tax advice from Lafer and Forbes. Will Trump follow through?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=17ZZLuTY2zk&feature=youtu.be&t=22

I'm keeping an open mind (heck, it's 15 months before the election).
