Stopping the government with a one day filibuster is not an accomplishment. Getting fooled by McConnell lies is not an accomplishment.

So Cruz does have ONE accomplishment in 3 years, to stop the Iran ambassador. That was an easy one, so no one wanted that terrorist to be approved.

If one wants to be president, one must show he/she has leadership qualities to attract followers. Cruz has sponsored a “HUGE” number of bills as you say, but only ONE of his “easy” bill passed. Cruz can learn a lot from Trump how to lead and attract followers.

Please list for me the conservative bills that have passed Congress this year.

Name for me one candidate that is demonstrably more conservative than Cruz in this year’s race.

Trump is a quite wealthy. He does not care what anyone else thinks.

that is good right now. It won’t be good when he is governing.

Trump has no political experience. Cruz was solicitor general and won 5 cases in front of the Supreme Court.

It is ridiculous that someone as good as Cruz has to take flak from Free Republic.

I would not be at all surprised if Trump raised taxes, appointed justices who support abortion, and acceded to numerous democratic crony friends.

Trump has not principled conservative history. All of his work in politics is with the political winds at his back.

Cruz also defeated the Republican establishment in Texas to win his senate seat.

Cruz is the most resistant force in the entire US congress. That is imperative and constitutes numerous accomplishments. We have no idea what Boehner and McConnell have taken off the table because Cruz can filibuster and has.
