>> “His math doesn’t work.” <<
.
But his Perot trickery is working well on the sub-70 IQ club.
.
Trump's got my vote too...
Too lazy to go read up thread dipstick?
Trump supports Single payer health care, He supported (and may still support) a 14% confiscatory wealth tax. He wants to limit the 2nd amendment. He will not defund planned parenthood and only recently claims to be pro life. Which of these is a conservative platform plank? None, Not a single one!
Speaking of going into the weeds, it seems you're doing that yourself. But this is what large-scale doers do. They're constantly looking at the little things that add up to big things. More than once, I've had coffee-shop lunches with multi-millionaires who were watching the cash register out of the corner of their eye and computing the business's annual gross as we talkedand then telling me the number later.
I don't know exactly what kind of President this guy would make. More middle-of-the-road than I would like, is my guess, just because, being practical, he would get the lay of the land and focus on what is do-able. But I have to say that his eye for what is on people's minds is remarkablewhich I guess is not that remarkable, for someone who has been in retail and marketing in front of millions of people most of his adult life.
But leading a country is the ultimate big-scale job requiring vision, and he has shown that he's good at that. It will be an interesting campaignfor once.
They tried it with Reagan. He deftly deflected it with dignity and statesmanship. He disarmed his opponents with a scalpel and a smile.
I can't get into the brash arrogance of a Trump. He tries to disarm his opponents with a sledgehammer and a scowl. There's no dignity, no statesmanship, no "gravitas". Point to any other U.S. President or successful and adulated world leader with the style of Trump.
It's not too smart to insult an entire group of people when the basis of your insult has a glaring omission; have you crunched the numbers on savings if, as promised, our allies start footing the bill for the troops stationed for their protection?
Lol, so genius, tell us all, what is his math?
Let’s see how far above 70 your IQ IS or if it even reaches that level.
How about expressing that equation for us?
Moses.
Gee. What do you think of the present foreign exchange student who occupies the oval orifice?
In today’s political climate perhaps only a sledgehammer will do the job.
Why how dare you refer to me as a dipstick, you status quo dimwit.
You two, as far as I know, are the first Trumpettes to come right out and say you want an autocrat, rather than an executive who abides by the Constitution.
I do not think you will be the last. But I hope and pray that you do not get your wish.
And still not addressing the issues. In debate that means you have lost.
"And I want to promise you - this will be a government of action, not of words!
We will build new schools, new roads, and build new houses!
I may wear the uniform of a billionaire, but in my heart, I am a simple man like you.
I know who you are and everything that you are - I am you.
Ask my employees - all my life I never taken my end until my people have first.
It will be like this in America again. Together we will make this country better, and stronger and free."
Changing to employees from soldiers, and from general to billionaire... this was a speech made by Idi Amin to the people of Uganda, from the movie "Last King of Scotland". Just saw it lsat night, and could see Trump saying the same words... but men who relish power rarely care about keeping their word. See King Obama. I'm for Trump (second), but he should be watched carefully and stopped when necessary. Even the well-intentioned changes that we think we might want can easily lead to terrible results. I don't see Trump as the kind of leader who is into LIMITING those in power, to SLOW DOWN changes. We NEED a man who can stand up to the media, and can stand up to PC nonsense... and Trump has been masterful at that so far... but he may not be the perfect fit in the long run for limited government conservatives like myself.
Current deficit
+ increased military spending
+ increased spending on veterans
+ increased spending on infrastructure
+ (expected increase in Social Security and expected in Medicaid and in Medicare)
- business tax revenue
- captial gains tax revenue
- and inheritance tax revenue
- a considerable percentage of personal income tax revenue
---------------------------
Balanced Budget
See? Math doesn't add up.
He really doesn't want to do that. He wants to end the taxing of hedge fund manager pay at the capital gains tax rate and instead tax it as income. But he also wants to reduce the highest income tax rate to 15%...which is lower than the captial tax rate is.
Hear! Hear!
You forgot:
Military assistance revenue
Economic expansion revenue
Punitive tariff revenue
“Paper Pusher” tax revenue
Foreign oil revenue
IRS reduction savings
Alien welfare savings
Math to work out just fine.
But he also wants to tax that fifty some percent of the population that currently pays nothing.
.
Well you hooked your own score below sexual innuendo for sure.
You’ll have to talk to doodle dog about his math; he was the one that made the observation.
You obviously have difficulties understanding the FR posting standards.
