I argued last week that people think the world, or even just America, would be less violent if there were no guns. I argue we would be MORE violent. If I had to choose between being shot to death or being hacked to death, I'd choose the former.
Last week's slaughter would've been much more gruesome had the attacker used a blade.
Next Question.....was the gay anchor man the shooter?
Yes, it is a sin. But that doesn’t mean that sodomites are not mentally ill.
A cleptomaniac is committing a sin when they steal, but they are still mentally ill.
Someone with Tourette’s syndrome is committing a sin by taking the Lord’s name in vain and spewing profanities, but they are still mentally ill.
There are numerous examples of mental illnesses which drive people to commit sin.

I’ve got three daughters and cannot imagine I would be motivated to lead a national crusade within days of losing one of them, whether by natural causes or violence. I know every man is different, but his actions make no sense to me. Coming so soon after her death, they just don’t seem natural.

A Kleptomanic is a person who steals compulsively for no discernible reason. They can’t help it which makes them different from a thief.
A homosexual can decide not to have sex. Saying a homosexual is mentally ill means they cannot make a decision not to be a homosexual and engage in that behavior. It makes them innocent.

Need to repeal the Community Mental Health Act of 1963. Once one is determined to be bat**** crazy, it's difficult if not impossible to do anything about it without his or her consent.
