After releasing a new ad attacking Donald Trump’s past liberal views, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush continues to criticize Donald Trump — now in Spanish.
“He attacks me every day. He attacks me every day with barbarities,” Bush pointed out in Spanish, accusing Trump of not being a true conservative. “He supports people like Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA). He’s given money to Hillary Clinton. He was a Democrat longer than Republican. He’s said that he’s more comfortable being a Democrat. He doesn’t have a record, because he hasn’t been a person who has served like me, who served for eight years as governor. He’s not a conservative. That’s my point.”
Bush made his remarks during a town hall meeting at La Progresiva Presbyterian School in Miami and in response to questions in Spanish. The translation of Bush’s anti-Trump rhetoric in Spanish was completed by the Washington Post. After the event Bush continued speaking to Spanish-speaking reporters from Telemundo about his attacks against the billionaire candidate.

Jeb is catching on at least to the idea you have to attack your opponent. But still this is awfully weak.
Someone please tell Jeb Bush that we live in the United States of America and the language spoken here is English! He may be confused. If he prefers Spanish, he might prefer moving to Mexico.
This tells me that, even if Trump gets elected, will he have reset things so that our country is for everyone again?
The is the United States of America. We are Americans, first and foremost. Jeb thinks we are Americans, and Spanish Americans etc.
That would be like, someone of Italian or Greek descent, having a politician speaking to them first in English then in Italian or Greek.
I would think Hispanics are like the rest of Americans and they refer to themselves as Americans.

It sounds like there is a pretty good chance that the RNC are going to go after Trump after this weekend using the various PACs. I think in the forefront you’ll be seeing them taking this divisive approach.

Agree that this is mystifying. The people Bush is trying to reach - they probably already hate Trump anyway. And if he’s trying to reach the “illegals” -uh, is Bush trolling for votes from illegal voters??
I’d read that since Bush’s donors are fleeing the sinking ship, his army of consultants HAS to spend the money on ad buys now, so the consultant class can collect their 15% kickback on every media buy. If the Bush donor spigot is trickling to nothing, the consultants have to grab the cash while they still can. Probably has much to do with the ad buys now, no matter how pointless they are.

Even as an independent he could pull more votes from the democrat side than the republican side.
Recently we've had three parties: democrats, republicans, and conservatives. This might be the opportune time to make it official. The general public is tired of both parties. I know it's a bad idea.
