Nationalist policies tend to be conservative, but not always. Huey Long for example.
I’m fine with him being a nationalist. As you aptly pointed out, most of his nationalist views are actually recognizable as conservative. Keep in mind that “conservative” only sells to the 53% (per mittens). We need to reshuffle the cards.

Trump is going to please enough Republicans to get a large general election turnout. He is going to pull independents and some Democrats. I think he garners more support from Blacks and Hispanics that we have gotten in the past.
This bodes well for us IMO.
I said the other day I expect a very lopsided vote. I may be wrong. He may not even be the candidate. Who knows?
It will be an interesting ride.
