I think this has become an age in which we are asking too much out of man, and too little out of God.

I wouldn’t disagree with this, because I think it’s pretty obvious.
As a nation we’ve gotten ourselves in this mess, and I can’t deny it looks like Divine intervention is the only way back.
The question is, would we even recognize divine intervention if it walked up to us and bit us on the schnoz?
