You forgot to mention that she believes in man-made global warming
.......................................................
and that for me is verboten!

I suspect Fiorina had the questions ahead of time. she was way too scripted.

Doesn’t matter. she is quickly rolling over on gay marriage. That is a fundamental requirement for support, as is repealing ObamaCare and securing the border and dealing with illegal aliens of ALL stripes.

Tell me WHY knowing the name attached to the leadership of a terror org will have ANY bearing at all on ones ability to deal decisively with that organization?

The fact Fiorina answered the question AFTER trump missed it is meaningless since no one with a brain would believe she was not aware of his mistake and had the information handy.

In reality it’s not that important, it’s just that you would expect a person who has casually followed the news over the last decade or so to have heard of these people. Enemies of ours.

Note also that in the time she took to get around to answering question an aide surely provided her with information on the organization and it’s leader.

No candidate for high office would EVER take a phone call fro the media without an aide present.

And...? My question was how knowing a name or not knowing a name impact at all on one’s ability ti deal with a situation involving that person or his organization.

This is why it was a gotcha question and Gergen called it right.

Carly Fiorina is part of the RNC strategy along with Hewitt to divide up votes for conservatives.

They plan these things out in advance and Fiorina would know in advance what gotcha questions the RNC media arm will be asking.

It’s a ruse and a planned out strategy using Hewitt and Salem and Fiorina is part of it.

“...you would expect a person who has casually followed the news over the last decade or so to have heard of these people.”

I wouldn’t.

There is something that is just too perfect about her. I can picture her with a snake behind her and an apple in her hand.

You should go back to his post and reread it.

The poster is calling out Hewitt’s bias.

Crap. I am a Cruz guy, but I get it. This is just crap and Mr. Trump will come out better as always. I freaking liked his answer - I will know when I need to.

It’s why a President selects advisors to, you know, ADVISE him on the often very minute details before making those domestic and foreign policy decisions. The captain of a ship has folks in the engine room doing stuff there that, while he may be fully capable of them himself, has more vital things on his mind.

What I want is a president who picks his own people – people who, while they may not always agree, have the same basic philosophy, love of the nation and concern for its welfare and safety. Would not that concern be a refreshing change from the traitor now infesting the Spite House?

An example of the other sort was JFK who, after being installed, had to be INTRODUCED TO HIS DEFENSE SECRETARY, Robert “Tie The Troops’ Hands Behind Their Backs” McNamara.

Question: WHO THE HELL TOLD JFK McNAMARA WAS TO BE HIS SECDEF??? There are many other examples, but I think you get the idea.

Oh, BTW, PAY NO ATTENTION TO THAT MAN BEHIND THE CURTAIN!!

Press secretary would be good.

Carly is a master at creating impressions. She's a salesperson.

Visionary leader she is NOT.

Hardly seems fair. How could Carly not have had time to better prepare her answer? I’m sure her staff made her aware of Trump’s response before she walked into that interview.

Thanks Ron.

Sorry C98.

I missed the text.

Again, sorry for that and glad to see you also are on to Hewitt’s agenda.

She didn’t excel at answering the questions... she stuttered, and delayed... I got the feeling she was Googling while we waited.

She also said she confuses the names too.

So, what’s the big deal?
