Please hit your ping lists. I’m hoping some of our FReepers in the region can attend.
“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.”
they can put the body In Prison but not the Spirit!
Of course, the crickets are chirping loud this time of year, so I may have missed their response.
We need to get 100,000 people out there. Kentucky is deep in the Bible Belt. If it can be done anywhere it can be done in Kentucky.
Thanks for posting Jim, I have not posted a thread but one time since 2001...lol
Had work tonight but am going to man the church phones out here on Staten Island and see if I can get something going if something is not already.
It is REALLY comfortable on the couch in the AC and I’m a little lazy as the years have gone by.
God, give me the strength to do you bidding tomorrow.
The devil’s followers seem to show up. And the degenerate press insulted Christians pretty badly today. At least the ones Google listed.
Special ping for Kim Davis...God bless Kim Davis!
This needs to go national, with regional protests everywhere.
Not sure what ted is doing but he has this up on facebook.

WHOM?... let me see.... who would plow this ground?..
For the pinglist.
Now we get to the Legislative Branch the guardians of the people that where given the honor, privilege, trust and power to protect themselves their families and millions of others rights, freedoms, monies, property, hope and future.
To them and them alone was given the right to make all law and to them and them were given the control of the purse strings, the money, and the lands that belong to you, to me, to them and to each of our families. The present state we are in clearly speaks for their performance
This Branch was given another great responsibility, that of oversight and it has been AWOL in that extremely vital sworn duty since the early sixties.
They are totally responsible for keeping the other two branches in line and for the last fifty or sixty years they have ducked that responsibility and willing let and even encouraged the courts, and presidents, to make and establish abusive laws that have for all practical purpose have created a yet to be put into total effect, police state.
Instead of these Congressmen both state and federal, and conservative legal action groups people cheering her on they should be taking quick action to loudly condemn the illegal act of this judge.
He certainly does not have any constitutional power either state or federal to place a state worker in jail for not doing her job. What is the charge did he issue a warrant and who served it. He has no police force nor the power to enforce law especially state law.
You don't put people in jail for not doing a job. You fire them.
But that's not what this is about anyway. The government is using this seeming minor incident to do what they have doing with these environmental laws and hate crimes laws, that is not to protect rights of these groups but to continue in very subtle way to gain power to jail people that refuse to do what the Federal government says is law no matter how immoral , wrong , or inhuman.
This is a classic example of how people can be conditioned to do horrible things that they will swear right now that they would never do. This is how brainwashing works and is so devastatingly effective when it is done over long periods of time.
Like I said the courts / government does not care about these people's rights. What they are getting people to do, is what they say is law and right to do..
They are setting the precedent that any employee who refuse to do what they are told can be not only be fired but jailed. They are preparing the near future when the government death panels orders the hospitals staffs .nurses and doctors to kill the people who are aged, infirm or who are too much of a financial drain on the government. That is only the starting point. I guess they will sale what body parts they can and burn the rest.
This is exactly how millions of men, women and children where butchered in the most horrible fashion and the other millions of people in Hitler's Germany, people just exactly like you and me turned our heads and did and said nothing .
It's already being done in this country that I have lived in, loved and given thanks to God for.
May He have mercy on us all.
Can anyone make some catchy “Free Kim Davis” bumper stickers? Something reminiscent of the Free Mumia or Free Nelson Mandela stickers we’ve call seen. Let’s turn the Left’s tactics against them. Maybe even a Kim Davis as Che Guevara poster ...
Then sell them and donate the money to Mrs. Davis or a church of her choice. Or to her legal team to bring a civil rights suit against the judge.
‘where is honor to be won by the soldier but in the center of the battle’
......(from my morning devotion, Charles Spurgeon)
I wept through my devotional this morning......it spoke directly to what we are facing
Decisions to be made......
God has put us where we are .....in this time.....
.....we don’t know the outcome....but He does
He calls us to be in the present.
GOD BLESS KIM DAVIS

So, everyone wear black judicial robes and carry copies of the constitution?
Additionally, the following paragraph is excerpted from the CENTENNIAL Thanksgiving Sermon, DELIVERED BY REV. B. W. ARNETT, B. D., AT ST. PAUL A. M. E. CHURCH, URBANA, OHIO 1876 - available in the "Library of Congress - Historical Collections" - "African-American Pamphlets from the Daniel A. P. Murray Collection," 1820-1920; American Memory, Washington, DC.
This historical treasure is one which should be prominent in our national discussions, especially now, when our philosophical foundations are being challenged, and when the views of a learned man like Dr. Arnett might shed light on centuries-old ideas about America's history. His theme: Righteousness Exalteth a Nation, but Sin is a Reproach to any People."
"Withdraw from Christendom the Bible, the Church with its sacraments and ministry, and Christian morality and hopes, and aspirations for time and eternity; repeal all the laws that are founded in the Christian Scriptures; remove the Christian humanities in the form of hospitals and asylums, and reformatories and institutions of mercy utterly unknown to unchristian countries; destroy the literature, the culture, the institutions of learning, the art, the refinement, the place of woman in her home and in society, which owe their origin and power to Christianity; blot out all faith in Divine Providence, love, and righteousness; turn back every believer in Christ to his former state; remove all thought or hope of the forgiveness of sins by a just but gracious God; erase the name of Christ from every register it sanctifiesin a word annihilate all the legitimate and logical effects of Christianity in Christendomjust accomplish in fact what multitudes of gifted and learned minds are wishing and trying to accomplish by their science, philosophy, and criticism, and what multitudes of the common people desire and seek, and not only would all progress toward and unto perfection cease, but not one of the shining lights of infidelity would shine much longer. Yes, the bitterest enemies of this holy and blessed religion, owe their ability to be enemies to its sacred revelations - to the inspiration and sublimity of that faith which reflects its glories on their hostile natures. They live in the strength of that which they would destroy. They are raised to their seats of opportunity and power by the grace of Him they would crucify afresh; and is it to be thought that they are stronger than that which gives them strength? Can it be supposed that a religion which civilizes and subdues, and elevates and blesses will succumb to the enmities it may arouse and quicken in its onward march? Are we to tremble for the ark of God when God is its upholder, and protector, and preserver? - Dr. Benjaming W. Arnett, St. Paul A.M.E. Church, Urbana, Ohio, Centennial Thanksgiving Sermon, November 1876Dr. Arnett, an A.M.E. Minister and Ohio State Legislator, was invited to publish this remarkable sermon commemorating the Centennial of the Declaration of Independence by the following method:
To:
Rev. B. W. ARNETT, B. D.
Dear Pastor:
Will you please prepare your Centennial Thanksgiving Sermon for publication: together with whatever matter pertaining to the colored people of this city, you deem worth preserving.
We make this request of you, believing that the publication of such matter, will be of benefit to the present and succeeding generations.

Yours is at hand, requesting me to prepare my "Centennial Thanksgiving Sermon" for publication. If you think that my words will be of any advantage to you, and those whom you have the honor of representing, I am willing to leave it to your judgement and will prepare my feeble effort for the press: hoping that, if there is nothing new in it, at least I may awaken some one to follow "the Moccasin tracks of Righteousness, and the Foot Prints of sin on the sands of time," and be better prepared for the duties they owe to themselves, their families, their country, and their God.
I am, yours,
BENJAMIN W. ARNETT

At another point in his long "Thanksgiving Sermon," Dr. Arnett made the following assertion about America and "wherein lies its greatness":
"Let us see what it is that makes us so great; wherein lies our strength. What has made us one of the greatest powers of the earth, politically and intellectually? Have we come to the conclusion that it is Righteousness that exalteth a nation? We have met to-day at the request of the President of the United States, Ulysses S. Grant, and also the Governor of our beloved State, Rutherford B. Hayes. For what? Why call us from our homes? Why come to the house of God? Why not go to the hall of mirth and to the places of amusement to-day? No that is not what they want us to do. We are commanded to go to our 'several places of worship, and there offer up thanks to Kind Providence which has brought our nation through the scenes of another year, and blessed the land with peace, plenty and prosperity.' Then as Americans we have reason to rejoice and congratulate ourselves on the greatness of our beloved country; at this the close of the first hundred years of experimental government of the people, by the people, and for the people. To be a citizen of this vast country is something, and to share in its privileges and duties is more than something." - Dr. Benjaming W. Arnett, St. Paul A.M.E. Church, Urbana, Ohio, Centennial Thanksgiving Sermon, November 1876
