“What’s the difference between this case and Kim Davis?

Kim Davis has a government job. Having said that, she could have been accommodated especially since the law was changed after she was elected.

No law was changed ! The supreme court made a ruling, not a law. How can she follow a ruling? It is not a law? And if you think that we are no longer a representative republic then continue to accept this deceit.

And that's this person's argument - the rules can be changed to accommodate her religious beliefs as well.
