For all the talk about Donald Trump allegedly driving minorities away from the Republican Party, could he actually bring people in?
A SurveyUSA poll released Friday shows in a hypothetical matchup with Hillary Clinton, Trump is ahead 45% to 40%.
But digging into the racial breakdown of the respondents is revealing. For example, the poll finds 25% of black respondents say they would vote for Trump over Clinton.
How impressive is that?

Add to that the reasonable expectation that Trump has no interest in shrinking the size of government — and it is definitely not a shock.
And a lot of blacks want good job opportunities too. That is not being delivered by Obama and the democrats.

I believe one thing that could happen in 2016 is that a lot of blacks may not be motivated to vote. They may not vote for the republican but they won’t for the democrat either. If that is the case, the democratic candidate could be in trouble.
Trump will probably get a lot more than that.
What percent of blacks is Ben Carson getting?
I’m guessing that Carson is getting a lot of the black vote right now. Carson is a good man and smart, but I don’t think he has the appropriate experience to be president. And when it comes down to the election, Carson’s supporters are going to realize that and vote elsewhere, most likely Trump.
Not a surprise at all. Trump is what people want to be. They respect someone who wins, shoots straight and tells the truth.

They see Trump as just as liberal as Hillary Clinton who will keep the goodies and entitlements flowing.
And this is different from the GOPe telling the base they have to “moderate” to bring in the liberal minorities and independents how?
Blacks don’t like Mexican illegals taking “their stuff”.

Responsible blacks jobs are being taken by illegals.
Legal Hispanic jobs are also being taken by illegals.
Why would this poll be a shocker.
These numbers will grow for Trump.
It’s not shocking, blacks can see illegals getting jobs and being treated better than they are overall. We are giving refuge to people because of violence in their countries when we have black citizens exposed to violence in sections of our own country.
Not even Reagan shrunk the size of government. Is he a liberal too?
Trump wants to cut taxes. Enough said.
Blacks on the street and their so-called spiritual and political leaders are not on the same page regarding Latinos in general and illegals specifically.

As a whole the poll is also D+3 40-37. So Trump leads are even more significant.
