SHOCK POLL: Trump Receives 25% of Black Vote in General Election Matchup
theamericanmirror.com ^ | SEPTEMBER 6, 2015

For all the talk about Donald Trump allegedly driving minorities away from the Republican Party, could he actually bring people in?

A SurveyUSA poll released Friday shows in a hypothetical matchup with Hillary Clinton, Trump is ahead 45% to 40%.

But digging into the racial breakdown of the respondents is revealing. For example, the poll finds 25% of black respondents say they would vote for Trump over Clinton.

How impressive is that?

The bulk of the black ink budget and red ink borrowing is completely on autopilot. so what do you propose that *he* propose to cut?

Bureaucracy, Dem patronage jobs to include do-nothing foundations, think tanks, NGOs subsisting on fat government contracts, plum patronage projects to Unions, grants for all kinds of "-studies" majors and colossal white-elephand science projects, The Dept. of Education, The Dept. of Energy, much foreign aid (*keep giving* the aid to Israel), anti-"bullying" efforts, ...and ALL pensions for Congress and the Senate. Serving in the Legislature, like welfare, was never meant to be a career choice.

Oh, and drastically cut the EPA: and require Congress to write and vote on regulations that implement the laws, themselves, rather than delegating the task to unelected, anonymous, unaccountable, career bureaucrats.

A practicing neurosurgeon (at Johns F'ing Hopkins) is NOT a post-turtle. If you had said, -- Washington is a bureaucratic maze with lots of backstabbing and lying, and a complaisant press backing the Dems, so we need someone more gruff, with populist charisma -- you'd have had a point.

Nice try, troll.

Sorry, but Walker supported TPA after Cruz had abandoned his mistaken position. Walker still supports it, AFAIK. He’s quiet about that though, LOL.

If you would actually read what you post and not the liberal headline, you would see that Walker tempered his support for TPA by ensuring it has controls.

But I wouldn't expect the average Cruz supporter to be honest about anything since they cannot see what a sellout their candidate has been.....not in words, but in actions.

As a white female, I’d be entirely pleased if blacks would for the first time, break from voting democrat and join us here in the light. It would be amazing to see them turn to appreciate conservative values and all the ways it would benefit THEM. I’d give anything to see them begin to change socially — leave behind the rap culture and build stronger families and communities. The world would be such a better place, for them and for all Americans. Would it not be amazing to see the decisiveness disappear, for all boats to lift ....and possibly, for more Americans to be at peace and to be truly United?

It would be amazing and I pray it happens.

I don't any influence in DC politics.

Blacks are just not getting the training and experience that Hispanics are bringing with them.

Pure BS. The majority of Hispanics entering ilegally are uneducated and unskilled. The same holds true for a significant percentage of legal immigrants. On the job training is how they acquire their skills. Moreover, they get jobs thru familial and other connections.

About ten years ago I had my roof replaced. The all Mexican crew came from the same small village in Mexico.

Sarah Palin is probably thinking :” Finally some real men are coming on the scene to do what needs to be done.”

Not in the hospital he isn't; in the White House he sure would be.

This could get interesting during the primaries. Some states have open primaries so Ds can vote for the Republican nominee.

So now you claim Walker is against Obamatrade enabling TPA? And you accuse Cruz of flip flopping?

Ah, yes. A tempered Obama TPA. After the Iran Corker deal that’s exactly what the country needs.

Walker is in favor of enabling Obama’s secret deals because the corportists bank rolling him want it done. No amount of spin will change those basic facts.

Read it from the horse’s mouth:

Walker, Bloomberg’s Halperin and John McCormick wrote, “expressed agreement with President Barack Obama on the pressing issue of fast-track trade legislation.”

“Walker said he supports giving Obama the authority to submit trade agreements to Congress for an expedited, up-or-down vote without amendments,” they wrote, before quoting Walker himself.

“If we don’t go down this path, we’re going to be at a competitive disadvantage, and so I think it just makes sense,” Walker said.

“At the same time, like many Republicans who support granting the trade authority recent past presidents have had, Walker said the deal would allow the Republican-controlled Congress to review Obama’s actions,” the Bloomberg reporters wrote.

“If this president were to give them a bad deal, they should hold him accountable and vote it down,” Walker added. “They have every right to do that under the proposal.”

...blacks voted 95% for obama. How do you reconcile that?

Blacks (by and large) began their participation in American politics as Republicans. Party of Lincoln and all that. All of my grandparents were lifelong Republicans, as were all of my great-grandparents. My parents' generation split about 50/50 on party lines. In my generation, the capture and herding of blacks onto the Democrat plantation was pretty much complete.

It's a long road back to political independence for most black people. I made my own escape during the Clinton years, but then I've always been the type who seeks my own way. I suppose those with the herd mentality just have to be let down and abused for decades before they clearly see they've been had.

Perhaps now is that time.

I could also be completely wrong. Culturally many blacks like the sign of confidence over humility or compassion.

I don't think you're wrong, but we should keep in mind that no demographic is monolithic. There are differences of opinion and perception in every demographic.

I think Trump is appealing to some blacks for the same reasons he's appealing to many others. The guy is a known quantity, has very high name recognition, is perceived by the public to be a winner, and he's got a no-nonsense message that strikes to the heart of most Americans' chief concerns.

I don't think it's any more complicated than that.

I'm taking that as a joke because it's a platitude of monumental oxymoronic proportions.

But I liked the rest your post.

That's funny, but what I said is true. You won't find any group on this earth where every single member is in groupthink lockstep. Not even among muzzies and liberals. Certainly not among any group of Americans.

That said, I do understand how it oftentimes appears that way.

It took the Democrat left four or five generations to breed the sort of feral blacks you see today. Black culture wasn't always like what we see now, although there are harmonics to the past.

Frankly, the left slowly squashed all of the noble and virtuous aspects of black culture out of existence, while carefully promoting and amplifying the very worst aspects, until they became self-perpetuating. It's become something like a metastasized cancer now.

The only relief or escape, is for individual blacks to wake up to the crime that's been committed against them, and to make a break for the razor wire. That's what I did, and I've never looked back.

I will say, though, that I'm encouraged by many of the videos and articles I've seen by emancipated blacks. There's an undercurrent of awareness that's beginning to grow among blacks, which gives me hope.

“I don’t understand how big the organization that Carson led at John Hopkins is.”

I can’t answer that specifically, but Carson was a primary participant in massive Johns Hopkins programs, not just relating to his specific discipline. My BIL, in healthcare, sat in meetings with him and was extremely impressed with him. This was before Carson’s name was discussed re politics, and before BIL had heard of his world-famous accomplishments in neurosurgery. He was just an important executive in meetings helping to make big decisions.

He’s obviously a smart man. But the question is does he have much management experience outside of his private practice?

In a normal business a “Director” is usually somewhere in authority between VP’s and managers.

In medical firms, there are “Medical Directors” that audit charts and make sure appropriate plans of care were developed and administered. But these are more advisory rolls. They usually don’t have staff and they don’t have direct authority over anyone.

I don’t know what “Director of pediatric neuorsurgery” really means. And I keep hoping someone in the know will say. But I doubt it gave him the kind of experience he needs to be an effective President.
