What? Why is it our responsibility to take sides to ‘defeat’ on faction in an over 1000 year old ISLAMIC civil war? Who says it is?
If anything it is TURKEY who should be worried.
I don’t know if it’s true that we can’t stop ISIS without Turkey. That sounds a lot like Obama flattery to Muslim regime he likes, and at the same time justifying Obama’s failure to stop ISIS.
But if it is true, and Turkey does not do everything possible to stamp out ISIS, I suggest we threaten, under a new president, to give them a great big old taste of what they gave the Armenians.
I’ll bet they want to seriously discuss the Armenian genocide after that.
And the Turks are getting war material funding on the understanding that they will be used for fighting ISIS. The Kurds will beg to differ. But then again, the federal monies given to planned parenthood aren’t used for abortions either.
I must be even more ignorant than you because I am not aware of any “war material funding.” Care to share?
