Every president of the US has either been a Christian or at least disassembled as one (eg Jefferson, Cleveland, Obama). Christian candidates and officeholders can and do speak with pride of their Christian beliefs, eg Ted Cruz, Nikki Haley, and Rick Perry. So there’s no need for your self-pity.
