I pretty much agree...except after 15 years of RINOcracy, I believe taking out the GOPe must happen before anything else can be accomplished.
It's asking a lot to expect a candidate to overcome the RATs and the media. To expect them also to successfully fight the RINOcracy daily seems unlikely.

I don't think that would go over very well with the American people. A presidential candidate saying he'll serve two years and a day and then turn it over to his VP who will then get a chance to serve as president for 10 years? That violates the spirit of the 22nd Amendment and the people would read too much (conspiracy) into a proposition like that. Our president should not have the ability to openly choose his own successor like that.
No. Trump needs to serve his full term if elected.

I don’t think that was the point of those pictures. I think it was to imply Trump could be the “flawed man” that needed “raised up”.
To: Boomer
I believe that was dry humor.

Criticism of Trump has had what effect so far? It merely drives his numbers higher. And he hits back even harder. Just ask Perry.
It is quite possible that GOP is beginning to recognize the inevitable.
Trump's got this election by the throat.

I'm a Cruz fan and don't see how Trump kicking the crap out of our common foe does us any harm. Let him have at it. ...the potential harm - and I say potential - is that some of the Trumpsters are anti Cruz now - thinking Trump is the ONLY answer in a worshipful obama bot like craze.

Cruz is by far the best candidate. At this point he’s not connecting with the voters. If he can’t get it, I’d take the Trumpster in a heartbeat.

What Cruz needs to do is to (aggressively) become pro-American jobs.
Bigtime.
I haven’t seen him stand firmly for American workers yet.

Casinos represent only a tiny slice of Trump's net worth. He made most of his money in real estate development.
Casinos rank down there with beauty pageants and TV reality shows in the overall Trump portfolio.
But even if a major share was casinos, so what? I would much rather blow a few thousand dollars on a trip to Las Vegas than to spend the same amount of money on a trip to Disneyland with stifling heat, long lines and thousands of fussing, crying children all around me.

IMO, Trump is the man for the time but his past positions create a trust issue.
He may be one of the great ones whom show dedication, strength and savvy for a national cause then ends up being despised by some for trampling on a portion of the constitution in doing so (Lincoln comes to mind).

I don’t dispute that he’s not aggressive enough. I even know the skunk advisor he has who is probably partly responsible.
But on jobs, he simply doesn’t agree with your solutions. That doesn’t make him anti American jobs. He knows Obama Care kills a thousand times more jobs than any trade deal. You don’t seem to have the mental capacity to understand that.
By the way, did you know an American NON UNION Honda owned plant in Ohio ships automobile engines to JAPAN!!!! American jobs are here, if we’d get the damned unions out of their way, along with the EPA and the IRS.

Trump needs someone to whisper in his ear when he wanders off the right path. Cruz would be a great candidate for that. It would also line him up for the next presidential candidate. Maybe Trump only serves for 4 years. You never know with him.

Agreed! And Cruz is also my man. If Trump should become president, however, even with his history of supporting progressive causes, and actually secures the border and stems the invasion, it will have been a great victory. If we no longer have sovereingty, no other issues can be addressed.

Jeb will win everywhere elseJeb can't get out of single digits.
Trump could spend $2 for every $1 that Jeb spends.
And frankly I wonder if Jeb's $100 million in commitments haven't walked.
