A federal circuit court judge, David L. Bunning, ordered the Kentucky County Clerk, Kim Davis, to be thrown in jail for refusing to abide by the rulings of the Supreme Court to issue marriage license to gay couples. Kim Davis, a few months ago, refused to issue licenses based on her religious beliefs and filed a motion to the supreme court.

She was sued by some gay couples for this reason and this eventually led to her being thrown in jail.

The judge declined to fine Davis because he said outside sources could easily fund and pay those fines. She was handed over to custody of the U.S. Marshals.

Common law is still law, but it is not statutory law. And then there is constitutional law, which likewise has no statutory component.

Let's cut the cr*p

Common law is not the same as "popular law" Google "History of Common Law."
Better set aside a few days...

“Every Public Official Is Subject To The Rule Of Law”

So, if a bad government (legislators or judges) passed some heinous law to persecute people, the Public Officials should obey it? “Ve vas just following orders, ja!”

“Including you, judge.”

The law that applies to this black-robed thug is a good one:

https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/242

18 U.S. Code § 242 - Deprivation of rights under color of law

“Whoever, under color of any law, statute, ordinance, regulation, or custom, willfully subjects any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or District to the deprivation of any rights, privileges, or immunities secured or protected by the Constitution or laws of the United States . . . shall be . . . imprisoned for any term of years or for life, or both, or may be sentenced to death.”

The black-robed thug is clearly guilty of this felony. This felony carries the death penalty, and crimes that carry the death penalty have no statute of limitations. The thug in robes can be prosecuted whenever the rule of law is restored, and he should be prosecuted for this serious crime. Depriving an American of the right to the free exercise of religion is about as heinous as crimes get.

'Every Public Official Is Subject To The Rule Of Law’

In your face, USA.
Patriots steam about true criminals like Lois Lerner skating despite having committed multiple grievous political crimes which actually appear to originate right at the very top of the current scandal ridden administration.
And Kim Davis, who would not violate her Christian principles to perform a service that any number of other clerks would perform, is targeted by the mean spirited Gaystpo warriors that have been empowered by the Obama administration.
And Bunning is their willing tool, who then he rubs salt in the would by this incredible statement when in fact public officials are currently running wild in illegality, corruption, and unconstitutional activity.
