Note to Judge Bunning: The recent ruling on sodomite marriages is NOT law. It is merely an outrageous opinion of 5 rogue judges. Oh that Thomas Jefferson, or someone with his spine were here for us.

When Donald Trump busts up the Corrupt Bastards Club in DC, those kinds of non-law encroachments on our liberties will be overturned. I have a feeling, if Jefferson were here now, your court would have already been vacated and you’d be looking for a new gig.

Come on, Trump!

‘Every Public Official Is Subject To The Rule Of Law’

Unless the public official’s name is Hillary Rodham Clinton, who is allowed to be unaccountable for all her lies and crimes.

RE: The rule of natural law. Not the rule of pervert law, no matter how many people say otherwise.

Yes, Natural Law. But even Kentucky Law prohibits same-sex marriage.

That’s his father, former U.S. senator Jim Bunning, sitting behind him. Jim must really be proud of his son. David Bunning is a disgrace to the human race.

I have an excellent idea. Let’s find a way to move several highly continuous cases where the defendant has violated the law into this Judge David L. Bunning’s court.

Then start every case with his quote “Every public official is subject to the rule of law” and then ask for an immediate summary judgment for the plaintive.

The man made an absolute statement to justify his support for the homosexual community and should be forced to apply the same rules to other cases.

Just think of the legal fun that would ensure. Perhaps after being forced to make several politically incorrect rulings, thus inciting the ire of the left, Judge Bunning could find a reason to retire, early.

***no runs, no hits, and a multitude of errors***

Is there a gutsy non-carpetbagger politician somewhere out there that will propose a bill to IMPEACH this judge!!!

Even if it doesn't pass the House, at least corrupt judges will be put on notice that we the people are watching.

Is there a person in American who will stand up to tyranny? . . . 30 million people? Just like in Egypt a while back! Egyptians could teach Americans how to fight for freedom... peacefully! AND successfully.

It is impermissible, unconstitutional legislation from the bench.

So, Kim Davis is UPHOLDING Kentucky Law.

The wonder is not that she is doing so, it's that everyone else isn't.

I remember decades ago, we used to debate how the Germans could have let the Nazis do the things they did.

This is how.

Because she doesn’t have to. SCOTUS ruled that the 14th amendment conflicts with the 1st. The constitution says no public office can be subject to a religious test. Therefore, saying she has to resign means there is an unconstitutional religious test against Christian belief for KY County Clerk.

Further, the relief she has sought was to have the marriage license altered to remove her personal name as county clerk, not to refuse to issue licenses.

If they allowed her to issue ‘gay marriage’ licenses without her signature like she wishes, would she then be breaking the law?

Thanks.

I looked it up as I couldn’t remember the Judge’s name. Bunning IS the Dist Ct Judge. Just a typo in the article.

Much appreciated.

The object of contempt is to compel compliance with the order. Bunning felt that a fine would not compel complaince, because the fine would have been paid by supporters, not by Davis, and becuase she would "feel no pain" if there was a fine, a fine would not be an effective means of compulsion.

The possibility of immovable object meeting irresistable force always exists in contests between law and conscience. There are many cases where the law adapts to these pressure points, meaning it subordinates itself to conscience. That will not happen in the homo marriage cases, and so, the only option left to conscientious objectors is civil disobedience. Refuse to obey, take your lumps. That's what government is best at, giving lumps and ordering violation of conscience.

RE: If they allowed her to issue ‘gay marriage’ licenses without her signature like she wishes, would she then be breaking the law?

If the law currently states that her signature should be on it for it to be a valid marriage license, then any license issued without her signature is INVALID.

The fact is, there are several accomodations that can be made:

1) Judges in the county can sign the marriage license ( and one of them already signaled his willingness to do so ).

2) Couples can go to NEIGHBORING counties. Kentucky recognizes marriage licenses issued by ALL counties in the State.

3) Finally, Kentucky could pass a law accommodating people of faith so that folks like Kim Davis don’t have to fight her conscience.

The fact that gay couples in Davis’ county don’t bother to do this tells me that is NOT about their license.

It is about PERSECUTING ALL WHO REFUSE TO CONFORM.

It is not unlike the gay couple who INSIST that the Colorado Christian Baker bake their wedding cake when they could have gone to many other bake shop to have it done.
