As she testified before the tax-writing Senate Finance Committee on Sept. 30, 1993, Hillary Clinton was asked by Sen. Bill Bradley (D-N.J.) if she supported the imposition of a new, 25 percent national sales tax on guns. Clinton emphatically endorsed the tax, stating: "I am all for that."

She doesn’t need to establish creds on gun grabbing, her party has done that for her many times over. What happens now is that her campaign finds out just how many DEMOCRATS OWN GUNS - such as union boys, for example.

This will ensure that only the "rich" have firearms. It most adversely affects the "poor" because they cannot afford the weapon AND the tax.
It is the "poor" who are most affected by gun violence.

So, Hitlery is in favor helping the "rich".

Actually, not only are there sales taxes on firearms and ammunition at the state and local levels, there are excise taxes on them at the federal level.

Excise Tax Rates are as follows: 10% of manufacturer's sales price on pistols and revolvers, 11% of manufacturer's sales price on long guns, and 11% of manufacturer's sales price on ammunition.

As an aside, gunsmiths and ammunition re-loaders may also be liable for excise taxes, depending on circumstances. Doing your own smithing for your own use, or re-loading for your own use, are not taxable.

From her perspective, many people of color are lower income and the 2nd amendment poll tax will keep the “wrong colored people” from getting guns. Just like in CT $114 only obtainable at one building in the entire state.
