How nice for the taxpayers of Baltimore.
He must have been a very high income earner to merit such a large settlement.

Hey - it is only taxpayer money to pay off the family of thug before any of the criminal trial have even begun...
Not that the city is trying to influence those trials...

Given reports his family’s history, I gotta wonder if that cash will be used for anything good any all. And frankly, it could get all members set up for life IF they had good guidance in using it.

The only question is, how quickly can he do it?

Nice work,Freddie! This was your last”ShakeDown”,but your Best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If responsible, I don’t have a problem with some sort of settlement. What I want to know is, how do they know the city is responsible? Nothing has been decided yet.

"Not that the city is trying to influence those trials..." Obviously, the city just admitted guilt regardless. Preposterous.

How nice for the taxpayers of Baltimore. How much do you think a Baltimore jury would have awarded his family?
To: ScottWalkerForPresident2016
Which ruling should result in scores of ghetto families encouraging their offspring to sacrifice themselves. All in the name of keeping momma's drugs coming in.
What a joke. Up is down. Black is white. And a career criminal who manages to get killed by the police gets his equally worthless family an unprecedented bonus.

A f__king drug head...
and a black Mayor and City council spending tax payers money to the parents, that more than likely aren't even married...

FIRED...
STOP BUYING CRIME...

Obviously, the city just admitted guilt regardless. Preposterous. It's a wrongful death suit. He died in police custody. Kind of hard to deny that. A runaway jury could have cost them many times the amount they'll pay.

Fair point, especially given high octane attorney fees and (likely) more damage to the city during a trial.

So the police have to make sure you don’t hurt yourself while in their custody. Waiting to hear if one of the lawyers for the cops gets the hospital records - he did live a week after this.

Giving people like this a fortune is like giving an eight year old a machine gun.
