Trump gets all the news. Trump gets the support of independents, of Blacks, of Jews, etc.

Then he bows out and someone that lots of people either haven't heard about or are somewhat afraid of somehow gets the nomination at the convention.

That is not a plan for Cruz to win the Whitehouse. That is a plan for the Democrats to retain the Whitehouse.

I hate that “we’ve done every road map” crap. how can you be so arrogant? did all of your road maps predict Obama in 08? I’m not saying it’s likely or easy, but nothing is preordained. Hillary hasn’t shown you that yet....?

I am troubled greatly by his vote on the Corker bill.

I am troubled by every name on that bill.

I am really sick and tired of the GOP doing what is necessary to advance the government agenda and then going out and pretending to be opposed to it.

I am not sure that’s what happened here, but it’s possible, it’s certainly the GOP M.O..

I could vote for Donald Trump to be president, and I could vote for ted Cruz to be president.

I would not vote for Jeb Bush to save my own life.

I absolutely despise this person, he makes me ill.

I would not vote for Jeb Bush to save my own life.

I believe that reflects the sentiment of 99.9% of FReepers.

I think a good 85% of freepers would agree with everything you said. Except, we are sure.   :)

i get conflicting reports on his support among blacks and hispanics.

one says terrible, and one says historically well among blacks considering the usual 4 percent we get.

Mainstream will try to hid any good news and so I’m not sure where to find good polling info broken down

Oh, I am sure that is what the purpose of the Corker bill is.

Let them vote against the Iran treaty while still it somehow passes oh we just don’t have enough votes like always, but we are against it, really we tried blah, blah, blah...

I’m just... I want to believe Ted Cruz didn’t do that, wasn’t a part of that.

But I don’t know. That’s what the GOP does. The GOP are a bunch of deceivers. Ted is in the GOP.

Is he deceiving me? Man, I really hope not.

G**, I really hate the GOP ;/

I found a couple of lists that have a guy named Mark Everson, a former IRS commissioner thats running on the GOP site. I guess he’s #18. Thanks for the help.

Did this same outfit strategize the Romney roadmap to victory?

He was in that list I gave you a link to. So we’re a number of other guys I’ve never heard of. Kind of strange...

Take care.

Me too, it's hard to figure out. He called out the GOP when no one else did by exposing the "vote for cloture and against the bill" fraud. It makes no sense to me. We know he's brilliant, what was his thinking on Corker?

I have said for a long time, the MSM is in fact the liberal socialist progressive party of the USA. The dnc is simply their political arm.

In a just world, we would get to try them for traitors that they are, given what they covered up about the Kenyan.

I absolutely despise this person, he makes me ill.

I have been endowed with a fertile imagination, and I find it difficult imagining him doing anything positive for this country.

(That is really sad, that this type of individual actually is out there, campaigning for the presidency!)

Upon reflection, I cannot believe he is actually doing this because he feels he can make a difference.

No, I belive he is chosen as the patsy, that can be controlled by the PTB for another four years.

“I neither like or trust Trump. Period. Cruz is clearly the better choice.”

That’s funny. Cruz likes and admires Trump. Why would Cruz like and respect The Donald and you who’s hero is obviously Cruz, think so differently than Ted about Trump? You’ve got a brain disconnect going on here.

Not that it will be any help. but here is a link to an explanation of Cruz's Corker vote.

http://therightscoop.com/ted-cruz-why-i-voted-yes-for-corker-iran-bill/

From what I gather, Congress has ceded all Constitutional authority to the homosexual-in-chief.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, released the following statement regarding votes on the Iran Nuclear Review Act:

“This bill was a missed opportunity. If Congress had acted to defend our constitutional authority – if Congress had adopted the Cruz-Toomey amendment – then we would be able to stop a bad Iran deal. Instead, the odds are now overwhelming that under these ground rules President Obama will negotiate, and Congress will acquiesce to, a terrible deal that allows Iran to acquire nuclear weapons and will endanger the lives of millions of Americans and our allies.

“I voted no on cloture because we should have insisted on amendments to put real teeth in this bill. Ultimately, I voted yes on final passage because it may delay, slightly, President Obama’s ability to lift the Iran sanctions and it ensures we will have a Congressional debate on the merits of the Iran deal. I will continue to lead the fight to prevent the Islamic Republic of Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons and to protect the national security of America and our allies.”

This is his explanation for his votes on that bill.

I am not sure what to think really. Whatever his reasoning is, the fact his that his name is down for support on a bill that could lead to a holocaust, nuclear war, apocalypse God only knows.

I would not have put my name on that damn thing for any reason on this earth.

So I am troubled by his vote for that reason.
