"During a Thursday morning interview on "Fox and Friends," Trump was asked if he did in fact make the comments quoted in Rolling Stone.
The real estate mogul first noted that "the pictures in the magazine were magnificent" and that "overall, it was probably a pretty good story."
He then said, "Probably I did say something like that about Carly," adding later that he said it "in a jocular manner." He also said it wasn't about her appearance.
"I’m talking about persona. I’m not talking about looks," he said on Fox. TPM
It seems his insults always come with an explanation followed by a walk back. For a man prized for not being PC, he isn’t so brave as to say that what he said was what he meant. He’s a cad and a bully.
I wish I could say I'm above it, but I'm not...how many times has Sarah Jessica Parker come onto a TV screen and I've thought, "Why the long face, Honey?" Which, coincidentally, we said about Lurch.
I think Fiorina is an acceptable looking ~~60 YO. I know from experience with the type I wouldn't want to spend the next four years with her as POTUS.

I am not going to try to make excuses at all for his statement about Fiorina, since I never cared for her anyway, and I don’t think it is a big a story with the average person as it will be made out to be by you and your liberal friends in the media. I just noticed that Jindal, the little Hindu twerp, is due to attack Trump today, and will no doubt bring joy to your soul. Watchdog C.B.Forgotston here in Louisiana says that Jindal is not a liar, he is a damned liar. Sometime back, Fox news came out and interviewed him for about an hour. Fox now has the goods on Jindal, which they will bring out if he ever catches on, which he won’t.
