If someone asks a Mexican or anyone else if they're legal the proper response is: "I'm in the US legally or "I'm a citizen". "And I'm DISGUSTED with those who invade our country. Send the criminals home."

I have to ask. Why was the person asked. Were they babbling in Illegalese? Were they and their kids behaving like they just moved out of a cardboard shack in some third-world cesspool? Were they dressed for Halloween and pushing themselves and their companions ahead of everyone else, acting like everyone else is the intruder? If that's the case, people are going to wonder.

Anyone who wants to be here should blend in to the culture or at least not be obnoxious in their current environment. Because you know what? They're not wanted and why should we bow to an invasion force?

I'm a Latino, or Hispanic or whatever you want to call us and I haven't experienced anything near that which Tina SAYS she has.

But, then, I live in one of the most Conservative counties in California (yes, there are Conservatives in California).

If Tina has run across these racist 'tudes in her own neighborhood, it stands to reason the people she runs into are fellow travelers such as herself.

My advice, Tina, if you want to compare and contrast the treatment you receive in various environments, first, go to a Tea Party meeting and, second, take a stroll through a mooselimb neighborhood near you.
