Pigeons, nothing but flying rats! I’d shoot rats, tame, banded, or any other way. Can’t stand ‘em.

Wild pigeon, like most of wild turkey, is too tough to eat.
My former boss killed a bunch of them that were infesting his barn (pigeons), & even as a wild game chef he was unable to tenderize them.
Squab from domesticated pigeon is a different story.
So...blasting wild pigeons that make a mess of your property is OK, but shooting wild ones as targets isn’t. Hmmm.....

What goes on at a chicken processing plant isnt hunting either. You mean chicken parts don't magically appear in the coolers at my grocery store? I thought the "Food Fairy" delivered them?

Everybody knows that pigeons are notorious leftists. Many a true word is said in jest. You have got to read this article. If there was ever a more appropriate thread to put this article, I cannot imagine where it would be.
Pigeons, Rats and Democrats.

And liberals dont crap all over the place?I do not have any love for pigeons, but they are not actively trying to destroy the country and control how I live my life.

FR is turning into a hangout for freaking city dwellers and nature worshippers. Sheesh. There was a time when such comments would get you laughed out of most of America.

Oh you should have been there for the fight I had with one freeper who defended Sea Sheppard for a week long argument and condemned every Japanese person in history for drawing breath.
No lightning.

I say we cage them and sell tickets. That way we finance their damage and kids can see the animals that nearly destroyed civilization.
Liberals. Not the birds.

Thats just me, I guess. It probably is just you because my first thought was how do you tame pigeons? That's like saying a barnyard rooster is tame. This article is blatantly slanted propaganda.

The only time anyone should kill an animal is if that animal is attacking or if they’re going to eat it. My dad kept us fed through many winters by killing wild game. He never did it for fun. If that makes me a nature worshipper then so be it.
And by the way, I have no idea what dove tastes like.

Do you get upset that they kill “tame” chickens or cows or goats or pigs? Pigeons are rats with feathers.
