Ending the sprawling criminal investigation into its failure to disclose an ignition defect that killed at least 124 people, General Motors has agreed to pay $900 million to settle the case with the Justice Department, according to documents released by the agency.

The Justice Department did not file charges against any individual G.M. employees. “So, what does the government do with that $900 mil?”

In the good ‘ol days it would buy a toilet for the space shuttle. Today, it’s just direct deposited into terrorist bank accounts.

Oh. That’s a good question, I’m sorry I have no idea, but it must be possible, don’t they get stolen sometimes? And certainly they can be replaced, so they must come out.

Sorry, I’m unhelpful, I have to play the “I’m just a girl” card here. But, it’s probably better not to have someone hold your beer and watch you try, if you know what I mean and I think you do.
