Carly Fiorina's claims of motherhood and 'secretary to CEO' rise to the top come under fire

But now Carly Fiorina's story has been put in doubt by the man she was with at the very start of her rise.

Todd Bartlem, who went on to become Fiorina's first husband, accuses her of creating a misleading mythology and 'losing her humanity' for a 'pathological' pursuit of power.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Mail Online, he said: 'It's not like she was a secretary for 15 years and rose up. She dropped out of law school, she settled on business school. It was all very planned.

'She's a very calculating person and her risks paid off but whenever I read descriptions about her life there'd always be this bit that she rose from a secretary at a real estate company to the head of AT&T…

'I mean she had a part-time position when she quit law school and she had to have money to pay the rent, so she worked as a secretary to a real estate firm in Palo Alto, but it was incidental.'

There was an interesting thread on Carly's incorporation of Hegelian Dialectic into her life/management strategery here on FR with in the last two days.

Can't find it at the moment...

Carly Fiorina‘s husbands have sharp opinions of the former Hewlett-Packard chief, who’s now running for a Senate seat in California. Todd Bartlem married Fiorina in 1977, and divorced in 1983 because she was too devoted to her work. “When someone is not . . . making Carly look good, they’re worthless,” he tells WSJ magazine. Current husband Frank Fiorina agrees his wife of 25 years can be polarizing: “People either . . . can’t get over how incredibly smart and knowledgeable she is, or they think she’s an arrogant witch.”

Very humourless. I don’t like that in a person.

According to the article, she was also fired by the McCain campaign. Her ex husband describes her as a narcissist - so, she’s a female barack obama and maybe a little hillary clinton too. Wow, people need to wake up - no wonder she never smiles and is so robotic - she thinks she’s all that and a bag of chips.

I think the portrayal was that she spent years as a secretary when in reality she worked as a secretary for a few months. It is like saying you worked at a fast food place for the summer and making a big deal about it. I once worked for the CEO of a Fortune 500 company who worked for UPS for a summer. He never mentioned it anywhere. He just mentioned it in passing to me. FioRino is turning this into something extraordinary when thousands of successful people have done just like her when they started out. Look at Carson. He started so far lower than she did and he does not cram it down out throats every time he gets.

Carson came as under privileged kid when the odds were a thousand times worse. She was born with a silver spoon . Carson was not and he has far more worth than she does.

The difference in Palin and Carly is about a 100 IQ points. Palin was marginalized as a buffoon by the media because she was buffoon and miles over her head.

Another left wing hit piece on Mrs. Fiorina. These damn articles have been popping up like Taystee Bread around here in the last 24 hours - Trump supporters must really be shitting their britches right now. Allow me to summarize:

1. She had a bad, brief first marriage before her second successful one of 30+ years. (Based on this artcle and how much of an asshole the ex seems to be, I’m pretty sure I know why.)

2. She really did work as a secretary before she was hired at AT&T, though said ex-husband (for reasons i cant quite fathom) doesn’t seem to think it counts.

3. She considers her stepchildren as her own. Not quite sure why this is a bad thing.

Does she have staying power? Hell, I don’t know - though I do know that she’s touched a nerve among Republican women across the ideological spectrum the likes of which I’ve not seen since the earliest Palin days in 2008. Let’s not underestimate that, either - these are the same women who work in the courthouses in county offices, serve as local party chairs, and (frankly) do a lion’s share of the footwork in elections as precinct committeemen, poll watchers, and judges.

Questions in advance? Remember a couple of weeks ago when Hewitt on his radio show interviewed Trump who couldn’t associate the correct FM of Dirkastan, then Carly came on and knew what that guy had for breakfast? Who was one of the moderators last night?

She lied about the 14th amendment and birthright citizenship.

Mark Levin did an excellent recap of the debate in the first hour of his show. It was really excellent.

Here is the link.

Palin was set up by the double agents McCain had working for him who were really working for Obama. Who would schedule 2 of the first 3 interviews with Gibson and Couric except someone working for the other side.

I get nervous when Fiorina worked for McCain worked for Romney. She is filler for taking out the candidates so Bush can be reinstalled.

See Mark Levin’s take . An excellent analysis.

She does remind me of Hillary as well. She has that same "no it all and condescending" disposition. No way would I ever vote for her there is something just too sinister about her.

I can't explain it, but it is the same gut feeling when the Clinton and then Obama showed up. You just knew in your gut they were bad news.

Guess it is a Trump said it's "her persona", not good vibes.

Levin and Hewitt are friends back to the Reagan administration. He probably has this in mind and at this point does not want to accuse his old friend.

how about,

she “saved” 30,000 jobs? i thought only leftists could actually “save” jobs. what she decided not to lay off 36,000 people. only 6,000? is that how she “saved” jobs?

how about,

the video with “fetus” kicking on the table (her saying fetus was a tell and folks say the video didn’t show the fetus, just the harvesting technicians).

how about,

she did well to keep hp afloat in the toughest times. when dell and even ibm were were cleaning her clock. and her stock didn’t even keep pace with the s&p.

ah well, that’s enough how abouts.
