Donald Trump’s counsel, advisor, and executive vice president Michael Cohen claims there’s ” a better than likely chance” The Donald will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin when he comes to New York City for the United Nations.
“Of course it was, because for the last 154 straight polls, Donald Trump is leading,” Cohen told radio host Sean Hannity on Thursday, when asked if candidates were targeting Trump. “I’m not even sure that’s ever happened in the history of this country. So when you talk about who the country thinks is the right man — or I said the right person — to lead this country for the next four or eight years, it’s gotta be Donald Trump.”

If any Trump advisors are tuned in, listen up -
I would strongly suggest Trump NOT meet with Putin.
Putin is a dictator causing problems for the US, and if Trump tries to get chummy - I know, he’s trying to improve international relations - it will come back to bite him big-time down the road.
Make no mistake, Putin is a land-hungry a-hole, like Hitler was, and WILL continue his string of naked aggressions like in Ukraine. He already has blood on his hands from that airliner, and will soon have more - something will happen in the next few months, and Trump will have to explain why he cozied up to a menace.
Getting chummy with Hitler didn’t improve relations, and it won’t with Putin either (or Iran, as another example). I’ve generally liked Trump so far, but I gotta say, if he can’t understand that some countries (a) have malicious intentions towards us, and (b) don’t appreciate anything except force, then he is seriously UNqualified to lead the US.

Trump is showing that it is not that hard to talk to the guy.
And honestly, give me a break. Obama is getting tens of thousands of people killed and palling up to Iran . Saying that Trump is cozying up to dictators is a bit much.
This will come back to hurt him if he does it.
Anything Putin or his troops do down the road - and they will - you don’t think a desperate NY times and DNC won’t hesitate to make the connection?
Instead, Trump should put out a statement like, “I’ll meet with Putin only when his Russian forces are fully withdrawn from sovereign Ukrainian territory”. Now THAT would get world attention, plus a lot of respect in Eastern Europe.
WE got to meet with leaders—even if we do not like them. Remember what Churchill said: “Jaw jaw is better than War, war.” Trump should meet with Putin—maybe they could work things out—as the US and RUSSIA should. A new form of Peristroka.
More Americans have been killed by illegal invaders and welfare recipients and mooslime “immigrants” than at the hands of any Russians. (Boston bombers don't count...they were Chechen...not Russian. And I am no troll or Putin lap dog. The same applies to the Chinese and any other “enemy”.
With all do respect to our military leadership Russia is not the greatest threat to the American public. It's not global warming or Chinese currency manipulation, or Russian people killing people and military personnel here on American soil.
Don't let them divert us from the enemy within. Open borders, importing jihadis, welfare miscreants, and left wing socialists. While Americans are being killed, wounded, and otherwise damaged by invaders these same “leaders” are not jumping into action to protect us. But a Russian sub doing some crazy-Ivans off the coast of Cuba...is a RED ALERT.

I believe Donald Trump stated that he had met briefly with Putin before at some event or other.
