Did I miss something? Did someone say American citizens (in general) and American businesses (in general) do not want the security provided by the American military?
American businesses that off shore production to undercut American workers deserve nothing but derision and certainly no protection form the US military.
I guess it depends on where those “off-shore” companies are. If they are located in a country with which the United States has a defense agreement, then they would receive the same protection as the host country. If they are not, then they’re likely on their own.
