Great minds think alike. I think I’m going to start calling her Carly Mudd.

That’s been the way with all printers. I have 3 hp printers (one is a fax). I’ve had them for years. The ink....I buy 8 oz for $30 and refill all of them. I use the same ink for my ancient Lexmark. Seems to last forever.

but wait until the internet gets invented.

wait until companies like Amazon partner with Fed Ex and UPS and the USPS to make commerce next day seamlessly.

wait until almost everywhere in the world can be connected by just 2 flights.

wait until everybody has a smart phone or tablet or laptop.

Oh, wait....THATS ALREADY HERE.

“HE’S PLAYING WITH HER MIND - this is GREAT”

I’m not so sure about that. Sounds to me like he’s threatened by her and on the defensive. His internals must be telling him something.

As far as comparing her to a recreational bowler, shes was head of a company that is orders of magnitude larger than Trump’s little real estate concern. She’s also run for office before, unlike Mr. Trump, so if anyone is thed rec league piker, it’s him.

Carly is devoid of humor. She comes off cold and bitter to me.

Yeah?

I hate to break something to you, but when that company’s CEO runs for a national office, then the former employees are well within their rights to take out their bitterness on her performance leading to their jobs being cut, by sinking her political aspirations. She is applying to be the employee of the employees that her decisions (as their boss) led to them being let go.

Go ahead and give that response to people in an economy that is teetering and see how far you get.

No, jobs are not charity gifts, but dont think that is a legal shield to protect you from retaliation votes from canned employess if the opportunity arises.

>>but wait until the internet gets invented.

Has nothing to do with manufacturing.

For the technically uninitiated, like you seem to be, the internet was an extension of DARPANET. DARPANET was an "invention" of DOD and had zero private dollars used in its creation.

>>wait until companies like Amazon partner with Fed Ex and UPS and the USPS to make commerce next day seamlessly.

Has nothing to do with manufacturing.

>>wait until almost everywhere in the world can be connected by just 2 flights.

Has nothing to do with manufacturing.

>>wait until everybody has a smart phone or tablet or laptop.

An American invention built by suicidal Asian slaves, ok you 'win' that one.

>>Oh, wait....THATS ALREADY HERE.

“She is one cold, calculating self-promoting old fish. I cannot stand that she’s even being considered by people who have no clue what her true history is. She is a walking GOPe disaster!”

Don’t panic. She was a Hail Mary pass to try to stop Trump. They knew Carson would flub in the debate, which is why they got Carla in there in the first place, and actually gave her more time than anyone else in that debate (not bad for someone coming in at 3% support).

Their hope was that Trump would make a Megan Kelly type of blunder, but even worse, with her. They figured that Trump can now defeat every man running, so they desperately pumped her up and threw her his way. But so far, he hasn’t taken the bait and the media did him a favor by honing in on his Obama is a Muslim non-retort, thereby keeping Karla out of some news cycles.

But now they’re talking about Romney running Third Party, as I predicted here 2 months ago. Romney’s only purpose, of course, would be to steal some Trump votes and throw the election to Biden. That tells me that they’ve also given up on Carla.

I doubt Romney will have any impact - Trump’s bond with his people is like Reagan’s bond, a Third Party ditz will get very few of those voters.

“Sounds to me like he’s threatened by her and on the defensive.”

I’m sure he’s SHAKING IN HIS BOOTS. You wish it.

But the good news is that it sounds like Romney may run Third Party, so you’ll have someone to vote for next November.

obviously touchy today, aren't we? Actually, I agree that former employees have a right to be bitter - but you are so so so so so missing two intellectual points. (this is what happens when you are bitter and emote and quit thinking and reading properly).

ONE: I am not talking about former employees...but since you brought it up: yes, even with the right to be bitter, it's not conservative to react in a certain way, period. Conservatism is not situational. And yes, free market capitalism can be brutal. It's called creative destruction. TWO: far more than just former HP employees are spouting these liberal lines. Get over yourself. If only the former HP employees and the Bernie Sanders crowd were channeling Bernie Sanders, I wouldn't bother with the post. Lot of Bernie around FR lately, and they don't even realize it.

Snarly is a failure and an opportunist. She is a Hillary lover also. You need to pull your head out of your hind end.

She wrecked two companies. Lost an election and didn’t pay her campaign staff to the tume of $500K until she filed for this election. The woman is worth 42 million and she couldn’t pay her staff?

Those people said they would never work for her again.

Her record shows failure in every way and now she thinks she could be POTUS? She talks a good game, but talk is cheap. Actions speak the loudest.

Oh please.

(internet) Has nothing to do with manufacturing.

Blithering ignorance ping.

It has TONS to do with manufacturing, especially with regards to inventory control across continents, shipping, distribution, ordering, etc. Wow, what total lack of any understanding.

Companies have responsibility to their country and its citizens. To think differently is to live in an economic la la land.

Companies, like citizens, have a civic responsibility to abide by the law. Anything beyond that is strictly voluntary. American companies and American citizens used to happily undertake such voluntary actions, but that was before the government and the progressives made it a crime to be in business, or to be a law-abiding citizen.
