There’s something to be said for tracked armor able to traverse the countryside, towns and bridges and not being a 70 ton behemoth.

Just what the folks at CombatReform have been shouting from the rooftops for the last decade-and-a-half or so, hoping for upgraded M113s instead of wheelies.

Maybe Ivan will sell us some of theirs.

I was privileged to spend some time at Picatinny Arsenal.

One of the neatest things I saw was the mobile mortar platform built on the back of what looked like an M113. It was a honking big mortar with a really long tube.
