Why GOP Congressional Leaders Support the Iran Deal in Fact — Follow the Money(ALWAYS)

‘Why on earth would Republicans do that?” That is a question I’ve been asked at least a dozen times since illustrating that the GOP has played a cynical game in connection with President Obama’s Iran deal. “Follow the money” is a common answer to questions about political motivation. It may not explain everything in this case, but it is certainly relevant. This spring, Republican leadership colluded with the White House and congressional Democrats to enact a law — the Corker-Cardin Iran Nuclear Agreement Review Act — that guaranteed Obama would be authorized to lift sanctions against Iran (the main objective of the terrorist regime in Tehran). The rigged law authorized Obama to lift sanctions as long as Republicans could not pass a resolution of disapproval. As Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, House Speaker John Boehner, Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Bob Corker, and other GOP leaders well knew, there was no way they would ever be able to enact a disapproval resolution over Obama’s veto. But the process choreographed by Corker-Cardin meant they would be able to complain about the deal and vote to disapprove it — thereby creating the impression that they were staunchly against the lifting of sanctions that they had already authorized.

The GOP also began the IRS Atrocity under McCain,
whose role in Benghazi is still not clear.

Treason. Every last one. There is a standard remedy for treason. It’s about time we started using it.

I know we are not supposed to hate, but I am with you. These corrupt, evil and vile establishment”leaders” must be defeated. Primary preferably, but general if it comes down to it.

End the GOPestablishment.

How much money will be released to iran if this deal goes through?

I can see a $150 billion reasons why the slimeballs, their backers, the banks, and the lobbyists want this iran deal to go through.

And to think, the senate only voted 99-1 to strike this deal. They did what they could.

This is why I will never vote for a sitting member of congress.

These clowns don’t even attempt to hide their corruption anymore, and even worse, will slam, smear, and ruin any American citizen who calls them out on it.

We discuss this issue all the time in our house.

Why would anyone sell their souls and ruin their grandchildren's future for money and power?

I may can understand the $$$$$ and power for in the present, but don't they ever consider the future of their next generations?

I just don't understand that.

I used to believe the GOP were cowards and just needed our calls for support. Now I know they are corrupt. I have not even considered we have representation at all since I realized this. I hope Trump overturns all the tables and sends them running. That is my wish for them. Every day I see how upset they are I feel it like Christmas.

My antenna say it is because we have so few leaders who are PATRIOTICS.

A patriotic will seek to give to his country rather than getting his country to give to him.

there are zero Democrats who are patriots, as the last were Joe Lieberman and Zell Miller.

we are now seeing a fewer and fewer number of Republicans being patriotic.

We need a George Washington type of personality to restore this country. The libs are fervently attempting to even destroy his heritage by calling him a slaveowner, like many, many of his day were.

I hear and see what you are saying, but I still am stumped at WHY.

My heritage goes back to being next door and social neighbors of Geo. Wash......, they fought and gave supplies and money to the war. I truly respect what all of those patriots did for me.

I just can't get my head wrapped around that "WHY", what does it profit?

Sorry, I know you tried......no one can answer it, except to leave it with the word "GREED" for the present, which leads me back to WHY. You live, you die and what you leave behind is what counts.
