Texas police will review decisions made when a Muslim teenager was taken away in handcuffs after high school staff mistook his homemade clock for a bomb, the Irving police chief said on Friday.
"One thing is clear to me, regardless of what we did, no matter what decision was made, there would've been people who agreed with it and people who disagreed with it," police Chief Larry Boyd told CNN.
The bespectacled ninth grader in a NASA T-shirt was led away in handcuffs from MacArthur High School on Monday after school officials discovered the clock.
By Wednesday, the Dallas-area student had become an Internet sensation and won several invitations, including one from President Barack Obama to visit the White House.

I think that the school did the right thing. Homemade digital clocks have been around for fifty years. You can purchase a kit for under $10. There is nothing special or unusual about a kid assembling a kit to make a digital clock.
What was unusual was to package the "clock" like a bomb. That appears to be deliberate.
You can get digital clocks in many colors, sizes, and shapes that do not look like a bomb.
Where is the journalism in this? Was he working on a science project? Or was he bringing in something for show and tell?
ITS NOT A CLOCK!!!! Liberals will ALWAYS protect Muslims, they have been doing it since 9/11..they see Muslims as the victims and no matter what they do they will always protect them. Had this kid been white the left would have called for his imprisonment

And yes it was a premeditated stunt with intent to cause a reaction.
The kid should be charged as such.
So...
A Muslim kid (or his muzzie-activist dad) disassembles a 1980’s Radio Shack clock...sort of puts it back together in a small briefcase with multiple protruding wires...goes to school...opens the case...plugs it into a wall in the middle of an English class...the teacher gets nervous and calls the cops.
And, the police are reviewing what THEY DID?
Maybe they should review why the only thing missing from the process above is...dynamite?
The kids father wanted to bring Sharia Law to Florida and sued that Pastor Terry(Forgot his last name) this was ALL a stunt so they could sue the school district for a crapload of money. Just look at that thing, does it even resemble a clock..NO, it resembles a wannabe BOMB..we have had streets shut down here in LA for less than that

TSA checkpoint ahead. 10 kids carrying gun-shaped leftover pop tarts, no problem. 10 kids of any race carrying Ahmed’s clock, airport panic, flight delays, and yes, count on it, consequences if authorities believe it was deliberately done to cause an alarm. All those who “stand with Ahmed” should show their true support by trying to carry on his clock during their next flight.
