The difficult thing is to share what Christ wants to do and can do, without getting full of oneself in the process.
When coming from a Roman Catholic background, which says “Oh look what a wonderful system WE have” and then finding a personal saving Christ, the temptation in the new congregation is to continue the underlying folly and say once more “Oh look what a wonderful system WE have.”
It’s not until we’ve dropped the ball badly enough that we come around to saying “Oh look what a wonderful system the LORD has.” And being able to trace it where it appears in each segment of Christendom.
So you are suggesting Richard Bennett has the wrong approach, that he shouldn’t sound the alarm, that he shouldn’t share the gospel of free grace with Catholics?
