BATON ROUGE – On 60 Minutes Sunday, Donald Trump made one thing perfectly clear – he supports a new federal entitlement program to give free government funded health care to every American.
This is how the Donald described ‘Trumpcare’ on 60 Minutes:
Scott Pelley: Universal health care.
Donald Trump: I am going to take care of everybody. I don’t care if it costs me votes or not. Everybody’s going to be taken care of much better than they’re taken care of now.
Scott Pelley: The uninsured person is going to be taken care of. How? How?
Donald Trump: They’re going to be taken care of. I would make a deal with existing hospitals to take care of people. And, you know what, if this is probably–
Scott Pelley: Make a deal? Who pays for it?
Donald Trump: –the government’s gonna pay for it….
Governor Jindal said, “In other words, Trump agrees with Obama and Clinton on the government takeover of health care, he agrees with Obama and Clinton on the need for socialized medicine.
“Policy disagreements are part of politics of course. But this is not just some random policy difference. This is a basic question of whether we as a country will continue the Obama slide toward government dependence, or whether we as a country will embrace personal freedom and responsibility.
“Trump has of course endorsed socialized medicine in the past, but in the past he has also endorsed abortion, Hillary Clinton, the Democrat Party, and every other liberal thing you can think of. It was good of Trump to reaffirm his support for the government takeover of health care for Republican primary voters. This will likely accelerate Trump’s downward slide in the polls. ”
Gov. Jindal remains the only Presidential candidate who has written a health care plan.
Trump was simply saying the government would continue to pay for healthcare for the poor. He has said he’d replace Obamacare with free market solutions, including competition across state lines.

As for Universal healthcare, just read my profile, and if you have an ounce of compassion for American citizens, you just might get a clue.
As Trump would say, Bobby Jindal is a stiff, a loser and a clown. This guy used to be solid, but in a pathetic attempt to generate attention, he can only attack Trump. Either that, or Bobby is either a designated GOPe attack dog. Problem is, when you are 1% in the polls, you’re irrelevant.

Ronald Reagan passed a law stating hospitals could not turn away patients if they could not pay. But set up no mechanism to reimburse the hospitals for this expense which drove up the cost of care for the insured.
Trump is correcting that by preventing this re-billing it seems like. Jindal is a loser. Maybe Jindal is still trying to figure out why we need to monitor volcanoes.....

the poor have NEVER not been covered. They can’t get turned down at hospitals and medicaid is there.
Get tough on people going to hospitals for nonsense. There are many urgicare centers here now, some very close to hospitals.
You’re talking a 40 dollar visit instead of perhaps several thousand.
Medicaid fraud should be a minimum 30 year sentence.

Now that companies have abandoned offering health care, and that there are fewer employed people ANYWAY, our old system has been DESTROYED.
Perhaps Trump's focus on creating jobs MIGHT bring back our old system of employer-provided health care, although highly unlikely. So, 0dunga ruined our health care system, what to do?
