Sorry, stupid military planners. The human mind is not a mechanistic device, like a computer. Sorry, idiots. You can’t download a program into a brain. You can’t upload the contents of a brain into a computer.
This isn’t idiotic at all. A chip implanted adjacent to the motor cortex could potentially drive prosthetic limbs to grasp and pull or stand and walk. We already see the early success of chips implanted against the sensory visual cortex that interact with external cameras and give a blind person rudimentary vision.
