Send in the female Rangers!

It looks like the rest of the world doesn’t give a shirt about our equal opportunity programs.

Indeed. What the middle east doesn’t need is someone who leads from behind. Obama turned the US into a bit player and bit players don’t get leading roles. Putin, and for that matter ISIS, knows what he wants and how to get it. Obama draws lines in the sand, then runs away.

If we = Obama the Bastard, then yes I agree with you. Iraq, Egypt, Libya, Yemen and Syria were NOT basket cases under Bush. Obama did is Arab Spring subterfuge and totally destabilized the Mid East. Then he shifted to Terrorist Strongman Iran, negotiated a piss poor deal for America and the Free World starting a Nuclear Arms Race.

Once he figures it out, he’ll let you know. You’ll have to wait until the golf course closes.

Russia says ready to liaise with US coalition on Syria strikes

Russia is ready to open “standing channels of communication” with the U.S.-led coalition bombing Islamic State militants in Syria in a bid to boost the fight against “terrorist groups,” Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Wednesday.

Russia said earlier on Wednesday it had launched air strikes against Islamic State militants.

“We have informed the authorities of the United States and other members of the coalition created by the Americans and are ready to forge standing channels of communication to ensure the maximum effective fight against the terrorist groups,” Lavrov told the United Nations Security Council.

The general Arab Spring idea was massive gov’t changes throughout the Middle East, with the exception of Saudi Arabia and Iran.

Syria was supposed to topple and a better dictator would arrive out of the mess. No one has ever been able to explain this Arab Spring in any logical sense....it just looks good on paper. Assad (as well as Egypt’s leadership) looked at things and countered the mess...bringing ISIS out in full view.

At this point, Obama still thinks some legit government can occur in Syria....but it’s almost comical to suggest that. Putin guessed right...dictators are the only way that Middle Eastern politics work.

The sooner that the US pulls out of Mid East operations...the better off we are. This is not a place for democracy and never will be.

Since Obama despises dictators and wants to overthrow them may we suggest he focus on the dangerous idiot in his mirror.
As for Russia in Syria? Very bad for ISIS but also not good for Israel either. This is all from Obama’s incompetence in the region.

Obama’s strong supporters from Google and Facebook helped with the Arab Spring. After Mubarak was brought down, Obama then further destabilized Egypt my strongly supporting the Muslim Brotherhood.

http://www.theguardian.com/media/pda/2011/may/18/google-wael-ghonim-mubarak

Wael Ghonim, the Google executive and Egyptian activist who played a key role in the popular uprising that toppled Hosni Mubarak, was on Wednesday lauded as “a hero” by his boss, Eric Schmidt.

Ghonim became a hero of the Egyptian anti-government uprising after setting up a highly influential Facebook page which quickly became the focus for protests in the country. The father-of-two, who is now on an “extended sabbatical” from Google, was arrested by Mubarak's forces and later broke down on national TV when shown pictures of dead protesters.

“No one argues that this is an internet-sparked revolution,” he said, adding that the internet was just a tool for “mobilising” protesters. “The internet’s role was very critical on the 25th, maybe the 27th, but got less and less important because it's role was to expose what was happening.”

Egypt implemented a countrywide internet blackout in the dying days of the Mubarak regime aimed at curbing communication between protesters.

Problem for Obama and US policy is that ISIS is a direct offspring of them both. By leaving Iraq to fend for itself, backing and arming Sunni “freedom fighters” in Syria, and generally leaving the minority communities in both countries and North Africa to the demonic brutality of the same the result has been both an epic catastrophe and a vacuum for Russia to fill. And one cannot blame Putin for accepting the invitation. Like the scorpion on the back of the frog, it’s his nature.

>>>Remember, he was the only U.S. Senator voting against Iraq<<<

Obama wasn’t a U.S. Senator when the Iraq War was Voted on.

He just became POTUS to make sure we lost the War in Iraq.

Whay are our planes in Syrian airspace. That violates international law. We have no permission from Syria. We don’t even have diplomatic relations with Syria.
