Further contextualizing this statistic is that the total number of murders committed by people’s hands and feet came to 660 – more than double the homicides committed by all rifles.

This was essentially the case last year too and every year before that.

Obviously a clear message that we need to ban assault rifles. Whatever they are. Odd that the bread down handguns, rifles, shotguns, firearms (unknows what type) but fail to break down ‘hand, foot, elbow, knee, head-butt’ etc. Sharp edged instruments, ‘knife, machete, axe, sword, cleaver etc.’. Guess they’re busier doing this than persuing the hildebeast.

How many of those came out of NYC, Chicago, Baltimore, LA, DC, and every other supposedly “gun free” shithole in the US?

Gun control can more accurately be described as people control, or to be absoluty specific, “law-biding white people control”.

Once the the thorn of civic-minded white people is mooted, the elites will run riot over our laws and freedoms.

Note how it’s the behavior of criminals that precedes calls for regular people to give up their freedoms.

To a rational person, it does not compute.

The other stat that’s floating around is that the FBI did something on the order of 22 million BG checks for gun purchases last year. Despite the fact that we are buying guns and rates never seen before, gun-related crime is down by something on the order of 4%. And yet we still have the “assault rifle” nonsense.

Excellent point. between Chicago, Baltimore and DC that is probably at least 1,000 homicides.

Am I missing something here?

Assault rifles(automatic fire) are highly regulated already.

“Assault weapons” is the made up liberal term to scare people.

I notice more and more that Assault Rifle is used when they are talking about “Assault Weapons” and I think it is intentional.

Libmath. Guns killed far more people than automobiles and cars are registered. Or something.

How many were white suicides?

How many were black inner city criminals.

Let’s get a true picture of what’s happening in the country.

Then there is the medical related deaths

From http://www.thecommonsenseshow.com/2013/02/03/death-by-doctor-vs-death-by-firearms/

The Journal American Medical Association

Barbara Starfield

Medical Cause Death Annual Number of Deaths

Deaths from medication errors in hospitals

7,000

Deaths from unnecessary surgeries

12,000

Deaths from other errors in hospitals

20,000

Deaths from infections acquired in hospitals

80,000

Deaths from FDA-approved correctly prescribed medicines

106,000

Total of medically-caused deaths in the US every year

225,000

And that report was published in 2000

I would leave NYC out of your equation. St Louis has 315,000 people and 151 homicides so far this year. NYC, population, 8.4 million, plus 1 million illegals, plus another 600,000 commuters,(10 million) has 251 homicides this year. If you want a reason as to why, NYC issues premise permits for business owners to protect their stores. NYC laws are horrible for full carry permits, but at least the premise permits knock down the number of armed robberies, dramatically.

Actually, Hitler invented the term. He called one of his new, select fire automatic carbines “sturmgewehr”. Translated it means “assault rifle” Now the libs have certainly made a bogeyman of it, that’s for sure.
