Obama is using US forces in Syria to put on a little theater to fool the folks back home into thinking he is trying to defeat ISIS.
He really just wants Assad out of the way so ISIS can expand the new Islamic Caliphate.
That is why he has’t let US Forces actually take any decisive action that could impair ISIS progress.

The Russians were fighting with both hands tied behind their back then for fear of the US.
That fear of us in no longer an issue, and they will now do what needs to be done without regard to what we think.
