I go further: I assert that there is a unit of the government that identifies and monitors those who are likely to be easily manipulated, and keeps them in a state of readiness by using modern psych drugs. When an order is issued, the handler provokes the mentally-ill individual, often actually providing the firearm or firearms.
And to get face time, pat each other on the back, and take full credit.
I understand what you mean...but maybe folks use humor to help deal and process the horror we hear and see regularly. Or maybe we are becoming ‘desensitized’ with these all to familiar tragedies.

Like clockwork, Obama is painted into an international corner and a huge domestic loss of life occurs. I wish I would have kept a list of events, I think it would be shocking.

Why is everyone jumping to the psychotropic drug theory? Isis has threatened this action and said they would pull it off. I am going to wait to hear the shooters name.. I know Oregon has a lot of muzzies.

I strongly believe that there are official organs of the government that are setting SOME of these mass shootings into action. Not all, but some.
The thing is, we ARE becoming desensitized, so the desired result no longer is occurring. Distraction of Obama's failures or purposeful sabotaging of our country, is becoming briefer. Calls for gun control are fruitless.
If I am right and there is a government angle, their efforts appear to be backfiring.
Prevented by sheer knowledge that someone could defend themselves.
Reduced by intervening. Instead, it is a bunch of hungover, sleepy, college kids unable to do anything but be shot.
More days than not, that is the case with me. So much garbage to wade through. But, it's so far been worth it. I do not like the trend, though.
