Check this out. My daughter found an iPhone today in the street. She said it had an "outer" and showed me hers. I said that it shouldn't stop damage.

She was wondering about the GPS and pretty soon it rang, was the owner, so she returned it. Actually she agreed to leave it at the desk where she was at her appointment and the student would pick it up.

She didn't think it was damaged but said it looked like several cars had run over it from the scuff marks on the outer box. It was one of our busiest streets by a college. Those cases must be super tough.

Too bad she didn't snap a picture of it lying in the street with her iPhone 4.

That would be an "Otter box", Aliska. . . and they are super tough. They make them for Samsung Galaxy Android phones too. Not too sure about other Android phones, though.
