HIs facebook page:

: ‘It’s amazing to sit back and reflect on life, decisions made or avoided, places I’ve been and the people I’ve met on my journey.

‘Why waste time wondering when I can enjoy my time experiencing life. Memories are what makes life worth living, even the bad ones bring you the ability to love the good ones.

‘So if you’re lucky, you’ll find the stars in your life and make a lifetime of one of a kind memories.’

If concealed carry were an option, this guy would’ve been packin’ and most of this wouldn’t have happened.

In the Daily Mail’s headline last night, the shooter was identified as a ‘conservative republican’. I see this morning that that phrase has been removed.

Keeping good company Chris.

With Chael Sonnen, one tough MMA dude.
Used to be one of my favorites, until he started running off at the mouth.
He was gonna run for political office as a repub.
Not sure if he will follow through.

I confess of being lazy, my day to day routine usually avoids people, i get up, drive to work, i work generally alone on heavy equipment, i might stop at the post office or buy fuel.

So i have two pistols, a compact .380 and a full sized Glock .45 that i keep in the truck, and now i must remind myself that this stuff is happening anywhere and anytime. That its very important to ALWAYS be armed, all the time. Save some lives.

I know last year when my wife was murdered by the EXACT same kind of person as this one and i was critically injured at the same time if i had a gun though i may not have saved her life i surely would have performed a different action.

So fair warning, any gun grabber or gun fearing liberal better stay out of my way cause i’m going frontier justice.

“I’m not trying to tell you not to be afraid. Fear is normal. But stop worrying about it and about yourselves. Stop making plans. Forget about going home. Consider yourselves already dead. Once you accept that idea, it won’t be so tough.” - Gen. Frank Savage, “Twelve O’Clock High”

Chris Mintz understands this, which is why he ran towards the fire when everyone else wanted to run from it.

P.S. If Chris Mintz had been carrying a gun, more college students would be alive today.

Sadly, had there been a 2nd ‘hero’ on-scene, the distraction - and sacrifice - could have saved a lot of lives.

No besmirching of the victims intended; no one can predict how someone will react under such conditions...which is why it is most commonly those conditioned to those stresses that react accordingly (veterans, et al).

A sheepdog, this one. Proud of him. And shame on the administrator who kept the other two armed vets from approaching. Frankly, I’m a bit surprised they didn’t just bull right past him/her.

If the students had swarmed the shooter, some would still have been shot, but probably fewer. The problem is that people realize that the one leading the charge is the most likely to be shot. No one wants to go first.

It brings to mind Aesop's fable about "who will bell the cat?" We all need to decide that if the situation ever arises, WE will bell the cat. Grab something, throw it, and charge. The others simply need to see the example. Most will follow a leader.
