The Oregon sheriff who’s overseeing the investigation into the horrific Oregon college shooting once posted a Sandy Hook truther video to his Facebook page.
Yes, in case you you have been fortunate enough thus far to live your life unaware of the worst reactions to tragedy humanity has to offer, every time there’s a shooting like in Newtown there are lots of insane conspiracy theories.
Sandy Hook in particular spawned a lot of conspiracy theories, and it turns out that Douglas County, Oregon sheriff John Hanlin––the one who has appeared at multiple press conferences to update the public on details of the horrible Umpqua Community College shooting––posted this to his Facebook page two years ago:

Of course, this is a classic Intel diversion tactic that played out that day. Weren’t the Bros recruited by CIA or was it FBI? (Can’t recall). In any case, the JFK library was in smoke and flames and tweeters heard an explosion; the place was evacuated and the archives, for sure, were effected. Sad day for JFK librarians.
Okay, I have no idea, but if the Bros were Intel assets, you can bet this was not a coinidink.

LOL a friend just had me read these posts on the phone tonight (I had been taking about “wide minded”’s interesting posts in conversation) and I just realized you were snarky for no reason. Not sure where the “you really don’t understand anything about Boston at all do you?” is coming from.

I live in Newtown. And yes, I believe that anybody claiming that the Sandy Hoax shootings didn't happen, or was some sort of covert government operation, are nutjobs.

Because it did not blow up. It was a fire in a mechanical room. Not sure where you are from, but there are fires in mechanical rooms EVERY day is most cities.
You have your head convinced that “they” are out to get us that you cannot see every day occurrences as every day occurrences.

You'd basically have to believe that everyone in Newtown, Connecticut belonged to this cult. Along with all their friends and family members. Along with all the teachers and and lots of law enforcement personnel and officials from adjacent towns, the state, the legal system, the FBI, etc.
You'd have to believe that all the members of the (at least) 20 churches in Newtown, Ct. belong to this Satanic cult, for which there is zero evidence.
You'd have to believe that the world is like the Truman Show.
Most people would see this alternate way to "envision" things as absurdly complex and paranoid.
In the absence of other evidence, the simplest explanation makes the most sense. Big lies are not always more believable; sometimes they are more obviously ridiculously false.
