Interesting approach for a gun grabber. Well regulated does not mean what he thinks it means.

“all members should be required to inventory all of their personal arms.”

In other words, universal gun registration.

The rest of my response can’t be posted on this forum, but it is not positive in nature.

And how does this differ from registration? BS leftist idea.

Sorry just Gun Control with a clever twist. A seriously moronic idea.

“Establish a robust national militia, mandating that every gun owner become a member. Failure to register with the militia should result in serious jail time.”

You talk about a stupid idea. Since our Constitutional founding in 1789, “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

— “the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed”, has meant that the right to bear arms shall not be infringed.

I don’t believe the Second Amendment was added in order to force me to be a member of the Militia but rather that I could be a member of the Militia.

Yep.

Interesting to tyrants.

I actually support the idea of a truly well-regulated (functioning properly) militia. We don’t have one today.

The totalitarian leftist scumbag author reveals his hand when he wants to draft everybody, inventory everything, and imprison YOU (or, at least, me) for not complying.

Bastard.

“the obvious interest of knowing the quantity and quality of arms” ... Obvious indeed. The guy really has a totalitarian mindset.

By using the description the founders used we are already a militia.

I am a Militia of one. I regulate myself.

If this law were enforced as suggested, the result would be the absolute emptying of the minorities inner cities into the prison population.

The feds would just obtain the list and have an excellent tool to use for gun confiscation. I like the idea though I know 0bummer would label all militia members domestic terrorists knowing that they would repel the incoming headlopper army and upsetting his and Soros’ well laid plans. Liberals are just too stupid and niaeve to realize their country is being invaded by a silent army.

Arming individuals was the way of making sure the militia(state) was regulated.

By using the description the founders used we are already a militia.

Exactly.

Even the headline is a misnomer.
