Obama's Success as President

Back in 2008, Barack Obama ran for the office of President with only one real promise--to fundamentally transform America. Everything else he said and promised was just a smokescreen for this one, true promise. Has he succeeded?
- He destroyed our image with other countries and peoples.
- He destroyed our progress towards a balanced budget--we don't even talk about it any more.
- He destroyed our relationships with (former) allies.
- He destroyed one sixth of our economy by implementing Obamacare, formally named the "Affordable Care Act."
- He destroyed the method by which America is governed by going around Congress at every chance he's had--and Congress let him for fear of being called racist.
- He is in the process of destroying our culture by importing foreigners in number never before seen. He encourages illegal invasion by promising not to prosecute those who invade us.
- He is destroying our national religion of Christianity. I know that most people are not Christians in every sense of the word, but this is the only country in the entire world founded in dedication to God and Christianity. I am convinced that is why we were so successful as a country until the 1970's.
- He is encouraging our enemies to stand up and fight us--not just resist our influence, but to actively fight against us.
- He is arming our enemies with nuclear weapons, and will allow them the means to transport those weapons (read: missiles) when they ask--without receiving anything in return.
- He ignores our citizens being held by those same enemies.
- He foments racial hatred by responding selectively to domestic tragedies around the country. He never fails to take the side of the one party that would be in the wrong.
- He makes the worst possible decision for the country in every situation with which he is faced. A merely weak leader would occasionally make the correct decision--he does not. This tells me that Obama is not a weak president, but a cleverly malicious one.
- He intentionally shirks his duties as president (how many rounds of golf has he played as president), just like he did as Senator (check his voting record).
I imagine there are many more examples, but these were just off the top of my head. Obama is not a weak president--he is an active enemy of the US. Congress is not much better as they have allowed him to usurp their responsibilities (re: Iran Deal), and have looked the other way. Even the so-called "opposition party" of the Republicans have been loyal supporters of him in hopes that they will somehow be favored in the new order of things. What is amazing to me is that this sort of situation has never before appeared in any other country in the history of the world. Sure, there have been dictators and monarchs, and generally nasty people--but even Kim Jung Un is loyal to Korea. Even Pol Pot was loyal to Cambodia. Even Stalin was loyal to Russia. Never EVER has a country freely elected its own enemy to lead them--and then be amazed that the country declines. Peoples and countries just do not do that to themselves--unless the country, as a corporate entity, is being Judged.
So tell me--given that Obama's goals were stated that he wanted to destroy the country, and that we elected him--is Obama a failure, or a success?

I maintain that he has been the most successful president we've seen. We (corporately) just were not seeing how destructive his goals were.

Actually, when you review how much damage that he could have done....he’s only been marginally successful. He’s only done half the things on the big list.

FWIW, he succeeded in turning over the House and Senate.

Great list. But I would also add:
—painted a perfectly good White House in rainbow colors to further divide the country and irritate tens of millions
—made food stamps a viable alternative to work
—made disability a condition to be pursued with alacrity
most of us could go on and on; but these stand out for me.

Very good additions. Creating a whole class of people who feel entitled to the fruit of others’ work.

The Hindenburg did not intend to blow up.
Obama did.

Kennedy said, “Ask what you can do for the country.”
Obama says, “What can I do to the country.”

Yup—EVERY SINGLE DECISION he has made has been as bad for the country as he could make it.

Destroying the country must be hard work.

FWIW, he succeeded in turning over the House and Senate. I think that was just an intermediate step to get UN laws and troops on our soil. His ultimate goal is to annihilate the US.

It will only get worse as we approach the end of his term. Watch for him to empty prisons of black criminals near the end.
To: armydawg505
Agreed. That also brings to mind the Guantanamo situation where he is releasing more enemies of the US.

I’m not ready to say it’s fundamental. I’m not ready to give up on a Trump administration.

0bama has definitely been highly successful in his planned destruction of America. I have to give a lot of credit, however, to the many who have aided and abetted him. People from both political parties, by the way. He couldn’t have done it without them. It’s been a genuine team effort. And We the People lose. Big time.
To: cymbeline
He has changed how our government works--even Hillary has already promised that she will enact gun control without Congress' cooperation or input.
People have already accepted the premise that the president is essentially a term-limited dictator--and I'm not sure how much longer the "term-limited" will be part of that.

I have to give a lot of credit, however, to the many who have aided and abetted him. Yes--I tried to give some credit to Congress for that as well.
