a “consensus” of opinions of scientists as a basis for a scientific claim. It needs to be repeatable experimental outcome. Not... a collection of disparate databases collaged together to make a script of man caused global warming.

Having worked with research scientists my whole career, I would venture to say it is not easy to get scientists to all agree on much of anything. This is especially true when data contradicts a conclusion.
These idiots are all in for a global government ruling over all the nations of the world. Since they are going for global control over the means of production (energy) of the globes economies, I would say it is a Marxist grab for centralized global power. Given what we have seen of Marxist governments, how dangerous would that be for humanity?
