House Intelligence Committee chairman Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA), an ally of House Majority Leader Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) in the upcoming Speakership elections, tells reporters that he thinks any GOP House member who doesnt back McCarthy on the floor should be kicked out of the GOP to go form their own third party.
Weve been down this road several times and at some point you have to realize how elections work, how the Congress functions and howwhats laid out clearly in the Constitution as a Democratic Republic, Nunes says.
Several conservative House members are considering bucking McCarthy on the floor of the House of Representatives. So you have to caucus as parties and if you dont like what happened in your party you have to leave and go start your own party. Which is kind of whats happened anyway, and its fine. They have every right to do that.
McCarthy is presumably going to win at least 125 votes on Thursday for Speaker of the House, which would make him the GOP conferences designated candidateessentially a nominee of sortsbut House conservatives could band together to deny anyone the Speakership on the floor of the House on Oct. 29 when the full House votes for a

This dorkwad saw what happened to Boner, didn’t he?
Who elected this moron?
EVERY CONGRESSMAN HAS TO BE RE-ELECTED EVERY 2 YEARS.
TOSS THEM *ALL* OUT
Even after all the stupidity of GOPe, it’s difficult to believe the establishment doesn’t “get it.”
“Wouldnt this open the door to this new 3rd party being the instant majority in the House?”
Most likely! But although the GOPe might be able to “remove” them as “Repubicans,” they are still duly elected members of Congress so, “kicking them out” would necessarily mean that the GOP was no longer the “majority party.” Welcome back Nancy!
Kicking out all the Republicans who do not agree with you is a SURE way to be assigned minority status forever.
But if they are going to act like a minority anyway, what difference does it make?
There are an awful lot of “Republicans” who should be primaried out. Unfortunately, incumbency has a lot of advantages that are hard to overcome.
Rep. Devin Nunes
Nunes has been characterized as confrontational and sharped-tongued by his opponents.
During the October 2013 budget standoff, Nunes famously called certain members of his own Republican Conference who favored a government shutdown, "Lemmings with suicide vests, it's kind of an insult to lemmings to call them lemmings" because of their tactics.
What’s wrong with Republicans in the San Joaquin Valley? They keep sending to Washington squishes like Kevin McCarthy and Devin Nunes. Two of the Valley’s other two Republicans, David Valadão and Jeff Denham also have rather lukewarm voting records. The only decent Republican from the area is Tom McClintock.
He said the “lemming caucus” that sought to defund the 2010 healthcare law as a condition for keeping the government open has misled his constituents into believing falsely, he says that their strategy could succeed. He said that he, too, hates Obamacare but sees no prospect of its repeal with its biggest fan in the White House and Democrats in control of the Senate.
“You guys ever watch ‘Sixteen Candles’? ... That’s going to be us tomorrow,” Nunes recently told reporters, suggesting tongue in cheek, he later said that Republicans would end up like a character in the 1984 movie, waking up on a lawn after crashing the car.
I guess it had to hit close to home for me to become cognizant of it. I’ve always had a bad trait of having to learn some things the hard way. I’ve gotten a lot better as I get older-I suppose mainly because by then, you’ve already made most of your mistakes, if you insist on learning the hard way.
Apropos of nothing, I’m wondering if this absolutely insistent push for man-made global warming, and the increasing acceptance of silencing and even punishing dissent of it, is being put into place as a possible “explanation” for all the people who will be missing after the Rapture? Especially as it’s being pushed globally?
I am not satisfied until we have a solid conservative from the South be Speaker.
No more of the wussy Northerners or from CA.
Louie Gohmert comes to mind......
IF there is going to be a successful conservative third party, this would be the time to do it since so many voters are fed up with all the incumbents, and Trump could lead the breakout.

This idiot in SC belongs in the zoo as he has no brain in his body that is useful.
Webster has the leadership experience. He was Speaker of the Florida House and was majority leader while in the Florida Senate.
McCarthy or Chaffetz is just more of the same crap.
Democratic Republic?
And here all these years I thought the United States was a Constitutional Republic, in which all Legally Qualified Citizens hold the franchise.
Nunes is my congressman and as for his request to leave the Republican Party; check on that big guy I did that a couple of years ago and will gladly support any conservative who runs against you.
The Beltway sure does reveal folks true colours huh?
Geees Louise.
He heads the Intelligence committee?
Lololol til I cry..
See ya Numes: Enjoy the thrills of minority govt., and being Nancy Pelosi’s piss boy
