NATO chief says prepared to send troops to defend Turkey

BRUSSELS | By Robin Emmott

NATO said it was prepared to send troops to Turkey to defend its ally after violations of Turkish airspace by Russian jets bombing Syria and Britain scolded Moscow for escalating a civil war that has already killed 250,000 people.

Officials at the U.S.-led alliance are still smarting from Russia's weekend incursions into Turkey's airspace near northern Syria and NATO defense ministers are meeting in Brussels with the agenda likely to be dominated by the Syria crisis.

"NATO is ready and able to defend all allies, including Turkey against any threats," NATO's Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg told reporters as he arrived for the meeting.

The only prediction that may come true is IT IS NOT GOING TO END WELL.

Again Obama is helping his Islamist buddy Erdogan in building and defending his new Caliphate. Judge Turkey's Erdogan by his own words:
"Mosques are our barracks, minarets our bayonets, domes our helmets, the believers our soldiers." "

There is no moderate Islam. Islam is Islam and that’s that”

"{Democracy is like a tram/bus:} You ride it until you arrive at your destination, then you step off."

"Assimilation {of Muslims} is a crime against humanity..."

The problem is they bugger others just as much.

Russia wants to reclaim Turkey for the Third Rome. They have for almost 500 years.

Turkey has not been a friend to Christians in the area, and a rather weak ally.

So how many lives will we spend to defend the Turks?

Read up on Fourth Generation Warfare.

The US Military, after WWII, has focused on Second Generation warfare. Which is why we keep losing.

If Russia wants Turkey, then they can have it as far as I’m concerned.

The Russians were promised Istanbul, the Straits and Armenia in the Sykes-Picot agreement, unfortunately Trotsky and the communists made a mess of that.

If Turkey expels all mooselimbs, who forcibly took over the country, and returns it to the rightful Middle East Christians, renames Constantinople to its proper name, I would be willing to defend Turkey.

until then? Let mooselimbs kill each other - have fun. If the Ruskies want to use the area as a live fire weapons test area - fine by me.

“Unfortunately we the Muslims lost our aim to head towards Jerusalem. The water of our eyes froze making us blind, and our hearts that was destined to beat for Jerusalem is now instead conditioned for rivalry being in a state of war with each other.” -Erdogan, May 2015

By Allah’s will, Jerusalem belongs to the Kurds, the Turks, the Arabs, and to all Muslims. And as our forefathers fought side by side at Gallipoli, and just as our forefathers went together to liberate Jerusalem with Saladin, we will march together on the same path [to liberate Jerusalem]. -Dovutoglu, Prime Minister of Turkey, May 2015.

(Just for “domestic consumption” I’m sure.)

They are “ready to defend all allies”. Except the Kurds who have been fighting and beating ISIS for over a year now. The Turks are bombing the Kurds and we refuse to arm them properly.

That would be the 3rd time in over 20 years or so that we (the USA/Nato) have screwed those people over.

Don't be surprised if Russian weapons and SFs’ show up in the Kurds defacto capital in the next few days or so.

And....we owe the Turks nothing. This is just to try and keep the Islamic invaders in the Turkish camps. Tell the Turks help is on the way, and maybe they won't release the flood gates to Europe of more “refugees”.

Could have fooled me, Coalition is hitting ISIS more than the joke Russian action is.

The Kurds are welcoming our help, the President of the Kurds told the PKK, a designated Terrorist group to get out.

The Russian Terrorists were trying to sell radioactive material to ISIS, it is clear, the Russians are the jihadis with their $70 Billion KGB agent Putin as Russia will become an Islamic Republic in short order.

Coalition forces are hitting ISIS more than the Russians, Assad helped the Jihadists attack USA in Iraq. It’s clear who the terrorists are.

We are just looking for an excuse to engage Russia in war. The powers that be don’t like them protecting the government of Syria from our trained terrorists.

It probably m ake sense in the 50's to have Turkey as a member of the western alliance. We needed their geography.

But looking at things now, NATO should ask themselves why they have a member country who is an enemy of Western Civilization.

Be certain, should Turkey ever invoke the treaty under duress, Americans will ask that question. And, demand an answer from the POTUS.

Now is this the same Turkey that said fighters crossing national borders sometimes is just normal, and who flies illegally into Syrian airspace every day to drop bombs? THAT Turkey?
