Front-running GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump would end up "the largest loser of any candidate ever in the history of the country" if he were the party's standard-bearer in 2016, Sen. Rand Paul tells Newsmax TV.
In a no-holds-barred interview with "The Hard Line" host Ed Berliner to air Monday night at 9 p.m. ET, the Kentucky Republican – running well behind Trump in national polls and struggling with fundraising – says the brash billionaire's "attitude" is "so polarizing" that if he were the Republican presidential nominee, "we'd get just swamped in a landslide."

That is what candidates need to do, is to polarize. A good candidate shows the public how he is different from the other candidates policies and opinions, that’s polarizing.
The norm today is everything must be alike, and heaven forbid calling someone out, such as Mitt calling obama out on his birth certificate, or anyone today calling Hillary out on her numerous scandals. This is political correctness.
That’s what’s so great about Trump, he’s making it crystal clear how he and his policies are different from the herd. Trump’s lack of political correctness is what the country loves and is why his numbers are up there.
Yes he’s mouthy, yes he’s rude. So what? That’s yesteryear’s way of getting attention to get the point out. It’s very effective. Who cares if wimpyette’s like Bush or feminazi’s like Fiorina are offended.

What major part of the republican base would Trump lose in a general election? Any republican that would stay home instead of voting for Trump or any one running as a republican would rather have Hillary Clinton as president. Can’t see that happening again.
